This is less about his privacy and more about a developer buying up houses next to him so they can use his name to sell them for more. He bought four houses, and leased them back to their original owners.

I don't agree. The quote doesn't work here. FB is product we are all free to use or not use.

If the NSA turned on our webcams and watched us walking around the house naked and we as a country stood for it that quote works.

I agree that FB should act ethically, however abstinence negates the concern 100%.

You can not always search and find a person even if he is on FB (for example person does not use full name, person does not have any public info or photos so you can not identify which John Smith of the hundreds you found is the one applying for the job and so on)
