Need advice about clips4sale..

Hello everyone! Well I was thinking into opening a store in clips4sale, like so many others do lately. I have a few doubts about this and maybe you could help me.. it may sounds a stupid question but, how should I pay the girls? maybe I have to hire a model for 2 hours and film as many clips as we can? maybe I have to pay her for every single clip we shoot? and what could be a reasonable price to pay them? I have in mind fetishes like tickling, feet, boots, balloon, hair, hypno... and this kind of things that doesn't implies nudity or explicit sex.

if you don't want to shoot at home what are the cheapest alternatives?

Finally, how should I contact the models without being taken for a perv? assuming that I don't have any experience shooting...

Here is how studios are working -
1. Calling model agent or model agency and explaining what will we shoot
2. Getting models that are available now and that want to work and paying for them
3. Negotiating the prices
4. Finding a short-term rent apartment and paying for it
5. Organising the shooting

If you are able to shoot at home - it will be your "income"
If you are able to find a girl yourself - you will not have to pay the agent fees
If the girl will be OK to shoot not for the money but for the pictures you will give her - you are the luckiest content provider!

Do not forget that you have to collect all the documents for your shootings (2257 and ModelRelease)

Don't pay them per clip/scene if you don't have to. Its better if you can get them to do it just for one set rate for a certain amount of time.

If you don't want to shoot at home which many don't (not good to play where you sleep because if they have film remorse after they know where to find you.), you can either go to a motel for a few hours (like $40 for 3 hours) or if you want a more home look go to airbnb.com and find a place in your area that rents you their full house for a day, just bring your own sheets and towels if you will be doing multiple shoots.

what's reasonable to pay them is what you can afford and what they will accept depending on the contract. You MIGHT get away with a cheap price the first time around with a newbie if you tell them its a test shoot and after they will get paid more. There is really no set price.

You can find models on sexyjobs, xxfilmjobs, backpage, word of mouth, social networking sites especially twitter.

Thank you both for your answers!

At first sight it doesn't seems very difficult... but if it were that easy everyone would do it, so what are the real challenges for succeeding in all this c4s business??

Well, I'm from Spain and all those sites (I also took a look at modelmayhem) are lacking in spanish girls nearby :( because of this I believe it will be more difficult to start this kind of business in this country.
Do you recommend looking for girls that are already in the adult industry?

I know i know, but I don't want to be TOO generous... I was thinking more or less in something like 300 or 400 ? per 4h of shooting.

Where do I get those documents? I have read about the "2257" but I didn't know that "modelrelease".

And one last thing, everything related to taxes and other legal formalities, how should I deal with it? I know this depends on the country, but if you could tell me some generic information...

Thank you!

I will tell you...
It's not so easy at it seems. Many girls are horrible at fetish content. They can be great for solo/hardcore, but they won't do fetish work right.
It's a lot more difficult.
If you plan to rent a location + pay the girls 400$, it's not quarantine at all that you will make your money back...

I aim to pay $50/scene. So, say I pay a model $500 for the day, I would want to shoot 10 or so scenes in about 8hrs. I can almost always shoot more than 10 scenes in an 8hr period, so anything more than the 10 scenes just brings my per scene cost down.

Also, be sure and shoot some extra non-nude, non-explicit stuff for marketing on sites like youtube, facebook, etc.

I almost always have a photographer on-hand to shoot stills while I'm shooting video as the photos come in real handy for promo materials.

I don't blame you. Last thing I need is a pissed off dad or boyfriend showing up at my door. VRBO.com has been a godsend for me.

I wouldn't worry much about this. Show them the money and they could care less if you're shooting with a camera phone.

Shooting the content is the easy part. Getting people to buy it is the most challenging.

Alice22 why do you think 400$ is too much? Mr.LightscapeMedia pays more or less the same and he seems to be succesful...

Please can you explain what is that 2257 document and the "model release"? Where do I get them?

Thank you!

i heard c4s does not ask for 2257 documents unless suspect of copyright infringement or underage. Another words, someone needs to complain about your store content. I see lots of content that looks like no documents were made as it was not possible, ie voyeur, public nudity , blindfold etc....

How do so many sites operate in this way and remain free of prison? I feel like everyone is getting away with murder!

visiono 08-20-2014 02:08 PM

if you think that's murder how about porn piracy on tube sites, torrent sites, blog sites with links to file sharing files.

Indeed, but I feel like copyright policies would never be taken as seriously as child pornography issues.
