Smart CJ admin always hard to load?

Sometime ago I decided to use Smart CJ for our MGPs. I loved the scipt features and the fact that both rotation and trading features already existed in the same script and I could also embed videos.

But there is a strange problem with Smart CJ which I was wondering if exists for everyone using this script or not. Everytime I try to access admin I have problem. the page takes forever to load. keeps loading loading loading ... and ends up with 504 Gateway timeout error. I have to refresh a lot maybe I'm lucky enough to succeed! 2 months ago after I consistently refreshed the page to access admin, it brought the whole server down!
Choopa support said it appears to be a "Kernel panic" on the server. It is possible to access admin but it's hard. very hard!! and I need to be lucky to succeed after I refresh several times with time out errors...

Do you guys using Smart CJ on high traffic sites have the same problem?

I'm asking because I want to start a new MGP and if Smart CJ has this terrible problem I have to think of a new script maybe Smart Thumbs or something else. I just don't like to try a new script which I'm not familiar with yet.

Been a while since i used smartcj, but it is notorious for being server resource hungry which is why i am not using it.Still i find it a bit strange how it would be causing kernel panic, even with heavy traffic.

What CMS would you suggest for high traffic MGP sites? Any experience with Smart Thumbs?
Our experience with "Smart Tube Pro" which is another product from Smart-Thumbs developers was not that great at all as we failed to find someone who could really integrate our design with no complaints about how terribly STP is coded... They all gave up and stopped replying to our emails!

Smart Thumbs is easier to use by far

Combination of TGPX and arlyia gallery creator.TGPX is now open source and in many aspects better then Smart thumbs rotator, tho it misses some features. But as it is open source, you can add whatever you want. And arlyia gallery creator for creating video same way like tube script create. You wont have views then, but again you could make a mod which would export clicks from tgpx into gallery info.

It works great for me. as for resources - use redis caching system and the load will be very little, compared to file cache.

i know owners of high traffic sites and they have not such a problem

Never heard of redis caching. Is this a built-in feature already in Smart CJ or do I need to talk to my host support?

I'm guessing you mean your server support fixed. How come could ISP fix such problem?
So did you conclude that the problem was with the script itself and not your server after all? That's what I would like to know as I'm not sure if it's Choopa support being incompetent again or Smart CJ is just not the right choice.

Redis caching is optimization method which you can use when you have high traffic site. But dont think classic server support can do it unless they have sysadmins which have experience with that, you will probaly need to hire third party sysadmin for that.
