Online privacy and your kids

I was reading this article an hour ago and it gave me pause. I have lots of friends and acquaintances in Facebook and Twitter. Most may not care what happens in my daily life, but somehow I felt I was exposing my two kids to a world who may or may not want to exploit them. I suddenly had this urge to start deleting family photos especially ones with my kids in Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.

Am I being paranoid or not? Should I consider the privacy of my kids and try not to rob them of their future anonimity?

Stupid fucking article. Kids run the Internet. They do social networking on a level that Facebook can only dream about. With Vine and Kick and Snapchat and god only knows what else is hip this month or next month.

My kid is 13 and is on so many sites I can't keep track of them.

Coming from someone that doesn't care if any government agency spies on him or his family at any time in any way.
"because he has nothing to hide"
