Webcam Recording Software?

Humor me for a moment, if you will. I'm looking for software that will allow a webcam performer to log into a web site, do a performance, and have it "record" to the web site, as content. Is there something currently that does this, or do I have to write it?

:thumbsup

Flash Media Encoder records a live stream and will save it on the server.

chaturbate offers that for thier performers I think.

we coded our own but it flash based.

i would love to see something html5 based

Sure, our performers can post videos to our site with our broadcasting software's record function.

It's done by most major cam sites.

For the time being, HTML5/HLS is outbound broadcast only.

LiveCamNetwork supports this feature. It lets you charge your customers anything you like per minute, and the recording is then available to use as you like. You can also sell that recording again and again via our Virtual Private Room feature.

If you want to use html5, I recommend using websockets. Here is an example of how to do it: http://phoboslab.org/log/2013/09/htm...via-websockets

I think it is a basic function of most of the scripts out there...

Bump.

Anyone know a newer software or setup that allows this? Recording webcam chats (specifically on Skype)

Thx

I record my team video meetings using Camtasia. With Mac, you can do it using QuickTime, which is free with the Mac.

Google "Evaer".

Do you mean intermediate software like camsplitter/manycam/splitcamera which models commonly use and it will record/upload video to specific website?

Or a button for model to record and upload video directly from Flash/Application used for video broadcasting and chat?

Thank you, checking....

There are a number of standalone options like Camtasia, but something more seamless would be nice.

Hi Edgeprod, If this is for a pay site, then LiveCamNetwork 5.1 Pro does this for you automatically. As your chat model performers pay per minute shows, LiveCamNetwork saves the session as a file on your server which you can then publish for additional per-minute revenues. You can also download the video, edit it and re-upload it of course for a more polished look.

The benefit of doing it this way means that your performers computer isn't bogged down using extra CPU time to record, and of course it means that you get this content instantly.

If you are using Windows you can also do this right from Windows Movie Maker, and if you are on a Mac, you can do this from iMovie.

There is also a program called Debut : I've never tried it before but I know someone who uses it and likes it a lot. Video Capture Software. Video, Webcam or Screen Recorder

Btw that Evaer worked perfectly :) Thanks again Mickey_ :)
