Seymour Hirsch is a well-respected journalist, of which there is one quote right at the beginning of the article, no doubt to try and bring some credibility (transference) to the conspiracy kooks whom are also cited (a common conspiracy writing tactic), and who you somehow think belong in the same category as Seymour Hirsch (ahem, one of the writers that is cited in the article is dead).

Full disclosure: I was a journalist for 15 years, working mostly in the entertainment biz (music, tv, movies) but also 'mainstream' investigative journalism (New York Times, New York magazine, GQ, Esquire, etc).

I think that everyone with an IQ of 70 or above are aware that vaccines have harmed X number of people and have even killed x number of people.

I also think that everyone with an IQ of 70 or above is aware that vaccines have helped billions and billions of people and have saved x numbers of lives.

I took a flu shot this year...and have for all of the adult years of my life and I know that taking flu shots has killed people and who knows it might kill me some year. On the other hand I can't recall how many years it has been since I have had the flu...off hand I can't recall ever having had the flu.

Asthma comes from vaccines, MS, Epilepsy, Motor Neurone Disease, Non Hodgkin Lymphoma, Eczema, Cot Death, Muscle-Wasting Diseases, Narcolepsy, Diabetes Type 1, Juvenile Arthritis, Lupus, Leukemia, Regressive Autism etc etc. This is how the pharmaceuticals increase the size of their market, they want as many people on drugs for life. The pretext for injection is mostly a fairytale which doesn't hold together when analyzed critically

Again, I have never said every vaccination is perfect, or possibly needed. I haven't had a flu vaccination in 20 years and have only had the flu a few times during that time.

I met very few smoking hotties. Most were music and film nerds. Some were hot but most not.

What killed journalism were the major corporations who stepped in and began to filter reality versus their agenda. Letterman used to joke about GE but it was more of a problem than even ol Dave would let on.
Corporate concept of do not offend anyone eventually filtered into TV and movies. Especially movies.

These days the control is more open. Hard news is gone and news about ponys and rabbits and the Kardashian skank celebrity TMZ scenes are taken for real news.

When I was in my early 20's I wrote for a music magazine. It was a lot of fun and a crazy, cool job. At that time in the two cities I was splitting time between (Portland and Seattle) there were probably 30 major radio stations and like another 30 smaller stations. Most of them were independently owned. It was a huge controversy when one company wanted to own two stations in the same market.

Now almost all of these stations are own by the same 2 or 3 companies. The same can be said for newspapers and magazines. With that comes a corporate mentality and many of them want you to slant the work you do in a particular way. This hurts journalism badly. Another problem is that TV news is now a for profit enterprise. It wasn't too long ago that TV stations produced news understanding that they were going to lose money or maybe break even. They did it as a public service and didn't care about ratings. As the ratings game increased the news stations started competing for viewers. They worried less about breaking interesting stories and more about putting stuff on the air that will draw viewers. Hell, if you look at the major 24 hour news networks half of their programming is not pundits. They have stopped doing the news and now produce a show. They are really not much different than a sitcom or a TV drama.

It is sad. What saddens me more is that most people don't care.

You are correct...the "news" shows...are just that entertainment "shows"...with a small bit of news thrown in. In addition there are not any...not a single news media...that is unbiased...and in fact most are heavily biased too the point of being ridiculous. It pisses me off...but one cannot defeat the color "green".
