what to do with websites you dont have time to maintain?
 

I have 2 websites i have no time to maintain, work on, do changes... content on them is free porn but nothing hosted on my servers. both have .com domains and i would consider them both to be above average to good domains. one has 3700 visits in last 30 days, other 125500 in last 30 days. no idea how much $ they make as i dont use site specific tracking. all traffic is direct or from links on other websites or from google - i didn't pay for any ads, links...

i was thinking in converting them to some whitelabel program - any idea?
or maybe sell them. any idea how much i could sell them for?

I'd throw plugrush ads on it and earn some passive income from the existing traffic. May only work out to a few bucks a month, but still worth it especially if you're not gonna spend a lot of time on them anyways.

I'm getting about 20% of my traffic to click my plugrush ads, so.. 20% of 3000 monthly visits at roughly a penny a click would be $6/mo.. pays a cable bill once a year or so..

Either sell them or maybe use Hosted Tube

Hard to valuate without specific sales data as sales would increase the value. So with no revenue proof value is dependent on domain name quality and existing traffic source/traffic quality.

I second the Plugrush idea...I make around $120/month just selling traffic on some websites I don't have the time to work on.

Idea 1) get site specific tracking on all the links immediately and wait 30 more days.

Can upload your own logo, SEO options, make money from either Pimproll sales or TrafficForce ads they show on the sites, can link back to other sites/affiliate programs, since it's free best to try one and see what ya think of it. I currently have 30 of them built.

If you change anything,you will likely lose your rankings and 90%+ SE traffic.So think twice.

why would you want to change it into a wl? You will lose your traffic.

I've either put them on whitelabels or just redirected to a sponsor that's related to the niche until it dries up.

Or let them sit.

leave them alone and see if they bring in more revenue per year than renewal/hosting fees.

at the end i just turned them into cam chat whitelabels and they made $300 yesterday
not bad, luckily i didnt sell them for low $xxxx as some offered. i think they would make this money in 2 weeks or less :)

In short we sell ad spots from your tube and split the ad impression revenue with you. Plus you get credit for upgrade sales etc.
