Worse Idea this year
 

I had some friends over last night, watching Sons of Anarchy on the new big screen.

Someone brought over some Maple Flavored Crown Royal.

Smelled like pancakes, tasted like someone poured maple syrup in a perfectly good bottle of scotch. OMG that stuff is bad, what were they thinking?

American Honey is a product made from Wild Turkey mixed with honey. I like it
Jack Daniels followed with their Honey product and it's ok,
But this is just plain nasty!!!!!!!

I find all those sweetened ones like you mentioned pretty fucking stupid. bourbon is already sweet enough on its own

I have this maple scent spray. Whenever it is used it consumes the whole house. Maple should be left for syrup and that's about it, it's just too damn strong.

It's true that I have been drinking for a while, legally as of TODAY my Birthday, 32 years.
I have made it a point to know what's out there and enjoy trying new spirits.
I'm in Rums mainly, I enjoy Sailor Jerry more than any rum I have ever tried and the fact that it's 92 proof is just a bonus.
Jack Daniels Honey is ok to put in a flask for going to events , it's pretty sweet, but it's a good product. So I tried this as my oldest friend brought it for us all to try. I poured a glass on the rocks, took two sips and poured it into the sink. My friend offered to leave it here, I denied him, LOL

You get one life, why wouldn't you want to sample everything ?

mix it with some coca-cola, it will be fine. can't be any worse than the regular crown after masking it with cola.

canadians have become bizarrely patriotic over the last 10 years or so. It's gotten to the point where we will add maple syrup to just about anything because its a 'canadian staple' even potato chips as you have seen above. Placing a maple leaf on things means automatic approval.

crown is too sweet as it is btw.. hehe Try Forty Creek instead.

Try Bacardi Oakheart, it's fairly new... It's really nice.. also when mixed with cola.. somehow it gets a hint of chocolate flavour that way :thumbsup

Jack Daniel's is always the winner here. Especially their Singe Barrel bottles...

Taste is ok, weak in proof. I like stronger rums
