Strange, I didn't get an email about it from the USGS.

It was 200 miles plus off shore....

The only thing most modern day zombies care about is if the internet/restaurants/stores/banks will be operating/open (in their immediate area of the world) and of course if new movies and other forms for mindrot will keep flowing. Other than that the average moron does not give a flying fuck if gazillions of gallons of contaminated water will be flushed into the Pacific by this natural disaster.

Yeah, but they have earthquakes there more often than I eat pizza so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

alex.missyouth 10-25-2013 12:16 PM

Damn, that's a heavy earthquake, I hope this is not the beginning of a new earthquake/tsunami/natural disaster frenzy. :\

DWB 10-25-2013 12:20 PM

Don't mind the ore fish.

Also, a 1 meter tsunami sounds harmless, but a mass of water at that size coming in from the ocean can do damage, move cars, break a lot of stuff, and so on.

Needs to be bigger for them to issue more then a warning according ot the news.

isn't the concern with japan, aftershocks? so if it has the energy for 7, it could have the energy for more?
