Silkroad founder 33 million in bitcoin seized
 

Where are the threads about this. Figured lots would show up.
They seized 33 million dollars in bitcoins from the guy.
Does this change anything and are they forever gone now?

what's going to be teh suck is when the feds sell those back and crash the market

They've actually moved them as well so DPR's backups (if he had any) won't work.

I read about silkroad being clised a week or so ago. What I read was that bc went down for a day or few hours and then went back up. So very little impact.

Nothing will happen with them how could the us government trade that amount of money with an exchange that's in japan or Russia where they have no control.

Current price represents the speculative rather than the intrinsic value of bitcoins, so whatever happens it won't change a thing.

FBI can keep that for some time... it might be worth lot more than those 33 millions once if gets legal...
