I'm not sure that I buy this as being completely real. It would be very hard to use the walkie talkies that they are carrying, and their peripheral vision would be terrible. This has to be only for one certain purpose, not for general use.

If you look at the other pictures, they are carrying normal walkie talkies, without extensions, and it's not the earpiece that is the issue, since their ears are not covered. (look at the rest of the pictures). the problem is the fact that their mouth is covered.

And if you don't think peripheral vision is important in a combat situation, then I would advise not getting into one.
