DBS.US 11-01-2013 10:23 AM

CBS in LA Channel 2 said two shooters, but now they are saying "Shooter"

DBS.US 11-01-2013 10:25 AM

Now it's one shooter in camo clothing carrying a long rifle.

bigpappa17934 11-01-2013 10:26 AM

Is it over already?

Well they just said a TSA officer has died.

Bryan G 11-01-2013 11:04 AM

They should start start letting passengers carry guns now. Clearly.

bigpappa17934 11-01-2013 11:08 AM

I never did understand what the big deal is with carrying a weapon on a plane.... How is it any different than on a train, on a bus, or anywhere else for that matter? I am a CCW holder and I have to say that the right to protect myself shouldn't be restricted when i climb onto a plane... a place where there are nothing PUT strangers!! Does anyone else agree????

Maybe it has something to do with hijacking a plane? A train or a bus can't be flown overseas or into a building.

Bryan G 11-01-2013 11:11 AM

Jesus some of you are retarded. Do you think I was serious?

bigpappa17934 11-01-2013 11:13 AM

If I catch a bullet, then I catch a bullet. I would rather come to a gun fight with another gun then with nothing more than, "You shouldn't have that.....that is illegal" As for the hijacking, would you attempt to hijack a plane that has passengers with other guns on it, or would you avoid that? I think I would avoid being a small place with others with guns if I wanted to start some stuff....

guns are not allowed on trains and buses. your ccw class should have covered that.

The difference I see, is you must also carry those special bullets that wont go through the airplane. But then again who is going to make sure the Criminal also follows that law???

A round though a train wall wont crash it!

I think the bigger question is why are you so afraid of your own shadow that you cannot walk out your front door without a gun?

ilnjscb 11-01-2013 12:00 PM

Everyone name their perfect country and we'll see how long it has been since you were under colonial rule, a monarch, a dictator, or a regime. Then we can all make fun of the US Constitution and what a silly document it is.

ilnjscb 11-01-2013 12:05 PM

By the way it was a TSA agent, so even if Americans didn't have rights you've lost and claim not to want, he would have been able to carry a gun.

I notice in Europe your bosses carry submachine guns.

bigpappa17934 11-01-2013 12:15 PM

It's not fear... It is being prepared. The common criminal is able to 'protect' himself with a gun, why shouldn't I be prepared to 'protect' myself from them? Just seems crazy to NOT be prepared, if you ask me. Up until a hundred years ago, carrying a weapon to protect yourself was a common every day thing. As the Boy Scout (and Girl Scout) motto says, "Always be prepared" ha ha ha ha

TheDA 11-01-2013 12:19 PM

I've come across a load of TSA officers that I have to say are probably the rudest people I have ever met, but I wouldn't go around shooting them.

Ha that's an ironic point considering the vast amount of countries controlled by dictators due to US interests. Read some history.

if i could, i would carry a nuclear weapon. for if i were attacked by a group of ruffians, i could detonate the bomb.

but in absence of such insanity, a 44 magnum is plenty of protection. :thumbsup

Hard to even respond to this. I guess I could say something like "so was dying due to wound infections" but really what's the point? And btw the reason criminals have access to guns to defend themselves is because there are so many of them and they are easy to get, either legally or illegally.

I've been on this planet for 48 years. In that time I've worked as a taxi driver, limo driver, OTR truck driver, worked graveyard at a 7-11, rode a motorcycle from one end of the country to the other twice, hitchhiked, sold weed, ran an escort business, etc etc. Not ONCE have I ever been in a situation where I wished I had a gun.

paranoia gives people a fucked up view of what being prepared is, there is a big difference between "Don't go hiking in the bush without toilet paper" and "don't ever walk out the door without a loaded gun".
