252 Documented Examples of Barack Obama?s Lying, Lawbreaking, Corruption, Cronyism, etc

Damn, I read thru this list and it's funny that people still support this guy.

Every President, every politician, and every human being tells lies and engages in acts of hypocrisy. But Barack Obama does these things to a far greater degree than anyone else that I have ever known of. His campaign promises were so much better sounding than anyone else's ? no lobbyists in his administration, waiting five days before signing all non-emergency bills so people would have time to read them, putting health care negotiations on C-SPAN, reading every bill line by line to make sure money isn't being wasted, prosecution of Wall St. criminals, ending raids against medical marijuana in states where it's legal, high levels of transparency. Obama's promises of these wonderful things sounded inspiring and sincere. They sounded so much better than the promises of any other President. So when Obama broke these promises, it felt so much worse than when other Presidents broke their promises.

I read the list and most of it I'd give him a pass. It's one thing to campaign and make promises and another thing to be brought into the loop and then realize that the situations involved make it very difficult to follow through on.

What I don't give him a pass on is the fact that he says he never knows what's going on, promises to get to the bottom of the problem and fix it. He never does anything. He moves on to the next problem with the same line of BS.

The buck stops with him..and he constantly tries to pass it back to someone else.

I can still remember way back, when President Obama was so careless that he allowed the largest terror attack ever, to occur on US soil. It gave President Obama just the excuse he needed, to roll out the previously written Patriot Act.

Then I remember President Obama deciding that we should conduct an illegal war with Iraq, killing and wounding HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Iraqis, based upon lies, and self-serving plans of war profiteering. Damn that crazy Obama!

I also remember Obama's crazy VP, who's company made over $39 BILLION dollars "rebuilding" Iraq, and then forcing fracking onto us, without any say by the American people.

Too bad we didn't get a good president, like maybe a really old man, who picked a psycho Tea Party nitwit to be his running mate, or maybe a great president, who inherited his fortune, believed in a nutjob religion complete with magic underwear, and swore to defend the rights of the top 1%.

Damn you, Obama!

So... Bush is an asshole and that makes it ok for Obama to lie about anything and everything?

Sounds legit.

Rochard 11-01-2013 01:20 PM

Holy crap, what a bullshit list.

Carried out military interventionism in Libya without Congressional approval

Really? That's the first one? Setting aside the fact that we argued it to death with Bush, this is bullshit all over it. Who the fuck cares? It's perfectly legal. It was legal when Bush did it, it was legal when Obama did, it will be legal when Clinton does it after she is elected. (See what I did there?)

Gave a no-bid contract to Halliburton ? just like Bush did

On no. Our government gives out no bid contracts? To Haliburton? On no. I wonder why.

Shut the fuck up.

Has an administration full of lobbyists, after promising he wouldn't have any

Pretty impossible to throw a rock in DC without hitting a lobbyist. Get over it.

Has close ties to Wall St., but pretends to support Occupy Wall St.

Well that's shocking - The President of the United States has close ties to Wall Street.. Where.... All of the money trades hands? If he wasn't close to Wall Street we would have a problem.

I don't recall Obama ever trying to pretend he was close to OWS. In fact, we were all pretty much surprised that he had no comment at all.

As someone campaigns for President, it's easy to second guess things or promise certain changes. But once you are on the inside, you discover it's a lot more complicated than you think. You can make that change you want to make, or the change you promised to make, but now you know why the person before you didn't make the change.

Robbie 11-01-2013 01:27 PM

Pres. Obama has certainly been given the "green light" to lie about anything and everything thanks to the sins of George Bush + being a black guy.

You can actually go to YouTube and find him lying about everything and nobody calls him on it.
His team must be cackling in disbelief that they get away with it.

Even this week...the exact things that the Republicans said about ObamaCare in the election are HAPPENING! And people just sort of shrug about it.

During the election it was said over and over and over how much money it was going to save people and how everybody could keep their plan and doctor if they liked it.
Romney was screaming to the heavens that it wouldn't work like that.

Obama and the Dems said that was a lie.

Now it turned out exactly like the Republicans said it would...and the Dems shrug it off and say "Well of course it's gonna cost more because we have to 'insure' all the people with pre-existing conditions"
Uh...that's exactly the opposite of what Dems said in the election.

And when it's pointed out (as well as all the other stuff that's happening), then the Obamapologists simply start talking about Bush (who hasn't been Pres. for the past 5 years).
Or they just say: "All politicians lie"

I think that once the Obama regime is out of office...the entire country is gonna wake up groggy with a bad hangover and wonder what the hell we were thinking re-electing him after all the lies of the first term.

I really like this one:

17) Ordered private company to fire 1,000 employees

Did Obama demand that a private company fire one thousand employees?

I see, after reading the link provided, it wasn't Obama.... It was the labor board. So a company violated state and federal laws in multiple states, the government did it's job, and.... Obama didn't fire anyone. At all.

The word you are looking for is....

douchebaggery

Why I don't listen to him anymore.

He still thinks what the IRS did was legal to target conservative groups. I guess even the giving of personal information to liberal groups that asked for it. Even though that's illegal.

He's the worse president in history, he is still telling people just 2 days ago they can keep their insurance if they like it, even though 100's of thousands of people have already had their insurance cancelled.

I knew when he started he was a fuck up. Too many promises when he knew little about how to get there. Now we are stuck with the ACA which is so far costing everyone more money unless you are poor.

In California, there are over a million people that are not collecting unemployment insurance anymore and unemployed and over 750k unemployed that still collect unemployment. And what's Barry doing? Pushing immigration reform

I think there might be some truth to this. Bush's presidency and how it ended in disaster gives Obama a lot of wiggle room on a lot of issues.

Don't like the US using Gitmo to avoid US law? Blame it on Bush. (But Obama will continue to allow it.)

I've heard that said for the last few decades.

The problem I have with that is...every Pres. is already a longtime politician before he becomes Pres.

And when they put together their campaign teams...it's always full of Washington insiders. And many of those insiders have worked for previous Presidents.

So I don't buy that these politicians running for Pres. are somehow naive and innocent.

Do you think McCain was when he was running against Obama in 2008?
Hell no. He knows everything that goes on in our govt.
As do most of those Senators and Congressmen.

And they all have staff members with either current of previous ties to the President's office.

Sure, there are some things that President's have top secret knowledge of.

But NONE of those things were what Obama promised.

So I can't give him a pass on that. Lying about being transparent about creating a new health care law for instance...how did becoming Pres. suddenly change that?
He simply lied.

20) Illegally put thousands of guns into hands of criminals

This program didn't start under Obama, but instead under a Republican White House. And I don't think you can pin that on Bush either.

:1orglaugh

I'm not a racist. But I do believe that there are enough "white guilt" people out there who made Obama's second term possible.

I do not believe there is any way that a white Pres. would have been elected for a second term with the economy still in the shitter. Just ask George H. Bush (the daddy) about that one.

But the normal laws of politics don't seem to apply to Pres. Obama.
He just keeps promising shit and people just accept it.

I don't believe every Congressman and every Senator is in the know about everything the government has going on. McCain might know more than most. A first term Congressman would not.

But McCain would also not be aware of every promise the President has made to another country or their leader, verbal or otherwise, and McCain might not have full knowledge of future plans in certain countries, or treaties.

It's very different when you are on the top.

I don't believe this is a racial thing at all. I think it's more of "the Bush administration dragged our country down to it's lowest point in sixty years". Short of burning down White House, he can't really do any worse than what happened under Bush.

I also believe the Republican party already knew they wouldn't be Obama the first time around, so they put up McCain and Palin. McCain might have been a war hero in his time, and used to be a firebrand (remember when he went to Vietnam and what he said?), but now he's grandpa with a chipmunk facial expression. And Palin was clearly a joke. No matter who the Democrats put up, they would have won. We took a huge hit as Bush left office - Exactly half the houses on my street were empty: That's fucking unheard of.

But I think Obama - and the Democratic party - thinks they can get away with a lot. And they can. But it might just bite them in the ass when trying to fill Obama's replacement.

We attack you on the facts and you don't seem to understand this. And you loose every time.

You just posted a link to a page that claims Obama fired one thousand people, which is completely untrue. Obama wasn't even involved.

You post up bullshit, lies, and half truths, and then when you get called out you say "I'm going to put you on ignore" because you can't debate.

My personal Opinion, and i'm not American, is that USA's intrenational image is deteriorating quite fast under Obama. It's like this man can't really make a decission and every time he's throwing it on someone elses' shoulders.

With the NSA getting busted for spying on everyone, yeah, that's a good assessment

ctggls 11-01-2013 02:48 PM

A few examples "We'll attack Syria!" , the next day "aaa, actually I want to have the consent of the Congers and ask them"..." insurance will cost lest with Obamacare... aaa, actually, yes it will cost more" , "we did not spy on Merkel's mobile phone!" , after a few days "aaa, actually we might have did it, actually it was the German secret service that did and they gave us the recordings" and so on...

He even tries to sign all sort of conventions with Russia and Putin plays with Obama just like he does with a little puppy.

After this Pres. USA will end up worse that it was when he first started and it will take decades to put things right again.

I'm not very good at history but i think this is the first US Administration (Except maybe the one with Watergate but that was internal) that had sooooo many problems with spying accusations being revealed.

It's like there isn't a day I don't read about another major blunder made by the Obama Administration... and that's from what I read in the news and without being there.

It's like a disease that skips a generation with the right.. It's was a inexcusable thing for Clinton to lie about getting a extra martial BJ.. Yet was no big deal when Bush and co took us to war killing thousands of US solders and tens of thousands of civilians in the process. Now once again it's a big deal if Obama lied about something..

Meanwhile the right has no real issue it appears with the NSA scandal nor do they seem to have much issue about us killing loads of civilians in Pakistan..

Seems lying about the small stuff is a big deal for the right but anything that involves big business contracts no matter if it's bad for the country or world for that matter is no big deal..

Really I'm tired of all the right vs left BS, but I'd at least like to see some consistency in what makes people outraged...
