It happens in Canada too and it has nothing to do with religion.

The belief is that women that stay "pure" and "modest" are considered to have a greater value. But the truth is that no one is willing to pay a woman to keep her legs closed. However if she opens her legs and takes the money upfront then she is less than human.

In the first situation men like virgins because of their own insecurities about their penis. Most men want a woman that is ignorant to both their own inept abilities as a lover and their penis size.

In the second situation men precieve a certain competition from other men arising from the fact that a woman can be in control of her own sex life and have a greater level of sexual experience than their partners. And sadly there is also a second fact and that is that most men HATE paying for sex.

If an employees personal life becomes a distraction at work they become a liability no matter what the reason.

But where does one draw the line between a company "expressing their freedom" of who they want as an employee - and discrimination based on pre-conceived notions of that employee's past?

Either way...it's a slippery slope (pun intended).

I've often wondered why people dont think about how this stuff could affect them later in life before they ever do it to begin with.
