Recently I started a thread about Plugrush, this time it's ExoClick's turn.

ExoClick is the most prolific ad network used on piracy websites and this situation will not be allowed to continue.

ExoClick ignore every email complaining of abuse of their service, they are monetizing piracy websites from pirate forums to piracy blogs, direct download sites to file locker link lists.

Above we see ExoClick ads featuring on PlanetSuzy, IntPorn and Vintage Erotica Forum.

All of these are piracy websites, sharing files on file lockers.

The wild west days are over and companies like ExoClick need to become better corporate citizens and reject the temptation of doing business with pirates.

The result of not becoming compliant will be the eventual loss of billing methods such as Visa and Mastercard, they also risk legal action as rights holders become completely fed up with the blind eye approach taken by such ad networks.

This thread will remain until ExoClick reach out to us and work out a piracy reporting system that works.

ExoClick are currently displaying what is called wilful blindness and are deliberately ignoring the scale of this problem. Their support of piracy sites through ad revenue payments helps keep the file locker eco system alive along with that of the wider piracy networks.

Millions of dollars are transacted through the piracy (mostly file locker) eco-system.

This money should be redirected back to the honest webmasters and affiliates who play by the rules.

It's time for us to take back this industry and stop pirates profiting from commercial copyright infringement.

The flow of cash through ad networks is a major revenue source for the pirates, if we cut that off then there will be less incentive to run a piracy blog or forum.

This has always been about the money. We need to return that to the producers, pay sites and affiliates and take it away from the thieves.

The question is, who are ExoClick loyal to ? Honest businesses or pirates ?

It's time for them to choose.

They are all same, and it was saturation already and not profitable if some 3rd party affiliate or even direct advertiser do this.

There were dating affiliates 2-3 years ago, last year media buys + adult dating died already.

I work on an honorary basis.

I'm not sure if you missed this but it's been said multiple times. We run on a cost recovery basis only. Nobody gets paid other than our lawyers and service providers.

It's probably time to throw up the balloon and make it clear that there needs to be a lot of change take place in the next twelve months.

There is no future for businesses which collude to profit from piracy. There are two roads to go down which lead to either prosperity or ruin. It's up to individual companies which road they choose to follow.

ExoClick, for example, has ad's running on thousands of piracy related sites that we have detected and we crawl for more every day. It's not just straight out porn piracy either, their portfolio of publishers includes sites which provide links to copyright infringing music, software, games and Hollywood movies.

If there is one thing to be learned from recent court decisions around the world, it is that associating with pirates is very dangerous to your survival. In the near future we will see mainstream rights holders rely upon recent judgements to further restrict the operation of businesses involved in commercial piracy.

At Copy Control we have purposely built an enormous database of infringement and those who profit from it. We have a very clear history of ExoClick being present on piracy sites over a long period of time and we know that ExoClick has not taken this problem seriously to date.

It's time for change. The status quo will not stand and unless companies like ExoClick embrace change then it's probably time to pull out the parachutes, because those companies that don't change will be forced to or go bankrupt fighting change.

It's worth noting that ExoClick are also present on SpankBang.com which contains illegal content that I cannot post screenshots of here, I can't even post links.

However ExoClick is providing ad revenue to this site which contains child pornography and bestiality.

SpankBang.com sits behind CloudFlare, uses PRQ for it's registry and probably server hosting.


So not only are ExoClick supporting piracy, they are also supporting sites which distribute illegal content.

The whois info on spankbang is not correct,PRQ is a "bulletproof" "offshore" company for hosting / domains run by the guys that run the piratebay.

Correct, they use PRQ for their registry info so Gottfrid appears as registrant.
