How to prevent Wordpress contact form 7 spam?

Thinking or recapcha plugin + askimet. Too much?
It is very important to prevent all the spam but also not to stop legit submits (I heard that askimet sometimes stops legit submits).

Problem is that somehow bots go through questions. Its impossible for them to guess the answer randomly, but they go through like question did not exist.
Thats why I was contemplating using askimet ON TOP of that. Not only askimet. But in this case some people can not go through.
And in this case I need accuracy:
that 100% bots would be stopped and 100% real people would go through.

Any chance for bots to pass it without entering correct answer? Like I mentioned, I had similar thing (not this plugin) and some bots (very few though) passed like it was not there. I am 100% sure they did not guess correct answer because it was impossible to know answer if you were not actual human).

I've not noticed anything getting through and have mostly been using simple maths questions.

It's akismet. :winkwink:

use keycaptcha, they are fun and I don't see bots breaking them that easy

I use a quiz, and haven't had any problems with that. I use math problems.

Arnox 11-20-2013 04:58 PM

Math problems for me: not one spam contact form.

garce 11-20-2013 05:45 PM

Stop using Wordpress?

PMProducoes 11-21-2013 03:19 AM

A lot ways to prevent spam from contact forms. E.g. add a hidden token which is counted on the request IP, or simple encode your form with JavaScript.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Now all of that would be too much..
Maybe captcha + invincible field would suffice?

Or what combo of 2 would you guys suggest?
