cron jobs question

how do I add a cron job to my wordpress blog? I have a plugin that I want to use and in order to make it work right I have to add some code and create a cron job but I have never done anything like this before. The plugin instructions say I have to add a line of code into my crontab but I don't know what that means. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks :)

does crons work in free hosts ?

If you don't know about cron jobs, maybe better don't touch your server settings. Ask your host to implement it for you.

on free hostings will not work correctly, most of them have restrictions.

Get a good host, and if you don't know anything about programming, try and talk with the host support, or a friend :)

crons and freehosts, yea too much of a headache, there are restrictions and blocks that can make u stumble in too many ways, its a lot easier to get a payed host
