Strategies For Keeping Your Content OFF Tube Sites?

What is the best strategy used by pay sites to keep their content off of tube sites?

At this point I assume the only thing you can do is send an email to the tube site and "ask" them to remove your content. Is this a full-time job that needs to be hired out? How effective is this strategy? Is it ever taken further to things like cease & desist orders?

I'm considering starting a little pay site but wondering how big of a problem this is going to become for me if my site were to become popular.

Thanks

Or develop a new video format which cannot be dowloaded or played anywhere else outside the website

More questions:

How do you go about monitoring the tube sites for your content? How many tubes do you monitor?

Looking for the specifics of your strategies... thanks!

dont shoot? :)

no way to stop it because it has value. if you cant keep shooting content your dead in the water. the huge companies just keep moving money to be made. guppies get eaten by bigger fish :2 cents:

IMO tube sites aren?t really that much of a problem. It?s the pirate boards you need to watch out for.

It really is just a profit and loss game because if it is just the tubes that you are concerned with you can work with them to upload promo content and benefit from the traffic. But if you are getting your site ripped and those users are uploading the content to tubes and boards you can seek the help of companies like http://www.pornguardian.com/ who harvest pirated links for you for a fee. But you have to figure a way to calculate if it is worth it to hire someone for this...You should start your paysite with the mind set that it will indeed be ripped and your premium content will be shared without your knowing but to what extent do you plan to be proactive in fighting against it.

still looking for specific strategies...

I'd like to monitor and do the shit myself, does anyone do this? What is your process?

Yea, I noticed that. You google "my sweet black ruby fruit". The company that made the movie is the fourth result. Pirate sites are the top 3 results.

I don't know if http://takedownpiracy.com/ is taking new customers but you can ask them.

The trick is to upload all of your full length to tubes... all of them.

Then at the end of each vid have a dancing leprechaun saying exactly this:
"Visit my site mate... lots more where this came from;) A pot of gold at the end of the rainbow"

That way, the surfers both think you have a sense of humor and a bunch more content (even though you don't)... but they think you do. So they buy a subscription and pirates cannot steal your shit because you already gave it all away for free ;)

You can see the battle is completely LOST, when you see program owners and content producers with 10+ years in this industry, paying Pirate Forums like Extreme-Board (and others) a FIXED FEE per month, to keep their content out of their site...

How was the name of the son of Darth Vader, again?...

Think about doing live sex cam shows. I see that ripped and put on the tube sites too. But people will want to see more shows and get that interactive experience going.

peterlanders 11-22-2013 05:26 AM

why not have vids uploaded on tube sites? All companies have their (trailers) uploaded on tubes. Offer tube sites the (short)vids you want to have uploaded...maybe is a solution. BTW, i hate tubes :helpme
