Want to tell the NSA to stop spying on you? Use Flagger

If you've had enough of the absurd, illegal, amoral antics of the out-of-control NSA then why not fight back - use this simple browser add-on - Flagger - to tell them to lay off and let us get on with our lives, without being spied on all the damn time.

Seth Manson 11-23-2013 01:38 AM

Yeah because we all know they will back off just because you dont like it.

Seth Manson 11-23-2013 01:38 AM

And holy shit thats a horrible idea.

just a punk 11-23-2013 01:41 AM

Nope, its a pretty good idea :)

BTW it is a common joke in Russia to tell something like: "Рutin, bоmb, tеrr-асt" while speaking on mobile :)

klinton 11-23-2013 02:52 AM

this + more people using cryptography = population control stopped and chaos wins ;)

No, it's not. What is a horrible reality though is that the NSA is blanket-harvesting all kinds of data that it has no business harvesting, by any standard (The Constitution, International Law, EU law, Human Rights Act etc., ) and storing it (using your $$$) in monstrous facilities like the Utah Data Center

Well you can add all those terroristic tags to your searches, but I'm not going to draw attention to myself like that.

Sure, I understand that - I feel it myself ... but, if a million people were to draw attention in this way, then it becomes unmanageable for the NSA to abuse our basic rights in this way, so 'a million people standing up' end up drawing attention to nobody - which is what we want.

Sp your government (NSA is a part of the government) is abusing the basic rights of the US citizens that can't do a shit about it. I though the USA is a democratic country :upsidedow

bronco67 11-23-2013 07:36 AM

I think this paranoia about being watched by the government stems from a mild case of narcissism. No one gives a shit about what you're doing.

exactly, same goes with cryptography and using TOR :)

Rather than trolling the NSA (which is just a URL variable, piss easy to filter) you'd be better off adding filler: accessing random websites, doing random searches, etc, so your actual usage is hidden within the noise.
