want to know about traffic

So im pretty new with my own site and wonder about traffic.
I see people talk about millions of traffic everyday and some about 100k and so on.
I understand traffic is king, but how mutch traffic is needed per day to get successfull in the start?
can someone please explane theese things to me.
also budget needed etc for datingsite.

Its all about quality not quantity.

+1 :thumbsup I have never had Mucho traffic on sites but smaller targeted niche traffic on multiple sites which has provided very good conversion ratios over the last 10+ years.

A general tube site with tons of traffic may just eat bandwidth and convert like shit where a site with targeted niche traffic will blow it away on conversion ratio. My goal is not to have the most visitors but to have the traffic so finely tuned that my conversion ratio/ROI is untouchable by the big dogs and slowly scale it up as it takes time to maintain the quality. Having the most visitors doesn't interest me, having the most targeted/quality visitors does. :2 cents:

alot of interactive traffic does help

yes, depends on conversion rates and type of site. Niches convert better than mainstream hardcore stuff.

yes it's about quality not quantity but quantity is good for CPM Ads

the people talking about those traffic numbers took a long time to reach there..

or they had something new that surfers loved like free webcams or tubes when it first came out

if ur doing something that everyone else is already doing, such as tgp, blog, tube.....its going to take time...

Certain pages on my website combined with the time of year seems to effect my conversions and earnings. Not my pure traffic volume.

The quality is all,not the quantity !

A successful start in my opinion is to make clear sites that appreciate google and rank good for long time....not to buy tons of (shit)traffic from the start.
