Angola Bans Islam - All Mosques to be Destroyed
http://www.ibtimes.com/angola-bans-i...eports-1483660 "A number of news outlets have reported that Angola has "banned" Islam and started to dismantle mosques in a bold effort to stem the spread of Muslim extremism. Weekly French-language Moroccan newspaper La Nouvelle Tribune published an article on Friday sourcing "several" Angolan officials, including the Southwest African nation's minister of culture, Rosa Cruz, who reportedly offered the following remarks, which have been translated from French: "The process of legalization of Islam has not been approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Their mosques would be closed until further notice." The media reports have not described why Islam would need to be legalized, considering its presence in the country for many years. OnIslam.net reports that the African economic news agency Agence Ecofin wrote that Cruz made the statement at an appearance last week before the 6th Commission of the National Assembly. The website goes on to note that, "According to several Angolan newspapers, Angola has become the first country in the world to ban Islam and Muslims, taking first measures by destroying mosques in the country." ------------------------------- http://www.africanglobe.net/africa/a...ues-destroyed/ " By popular demand, Angolan authorities have taken pre-emptive action and decided to ban the Muslim religion, which they consider a cult, NOT a religion. They see what Muslims are doing to non-Muslims, especially in Africa, and are taking steps to prevent the same from happening in Angola. In early October 2013, the Muslims living in Luanda in the municipality of Viana Zango were shocked to see the minaret of their mosque dismantled into pieces on the ground without permission. On Thursday 03 October in the morning, the Angolan authorities decided to destroy the mosque Zango located in the urban district of Viana 17 km. The governor of Luanda Bento announced in a radio spot that radical Muslims are not welcome in Angola and the Angolan government is not ready for the legalization of mosques in Angola." Now if they would just ban Christianity and every other religion too, they might be on the track to sanity.

Hmmm not sure that is good thing to do. Everyone has right to like any religion he wants... Just not to impact others with it...

I'd say that once porn starts killing people for centuries and starts wars for millennium, and does it all based on superstition...THEN they can talk about banning porn. Until then, religion is the perpetrator. |
Sadly they will now become a target to Muslim extremist.

Zwei Grenzer auf Streifengang unterhalten sich. Fragt der eine: "Was hälsd'n von Angola?" Der andere: "An Gola genntsch misch dootsaufm.."

I wonder if things could be headed this way in a lot of places where they're just tired of those extremist shenanigans. The wholesale banning of the religion is the only way to do it, because you can't separate the peaceful Muslims from the radical jerkoffs. If we could pick the extremists out of the general Islamic populous then they'd all have had a hellfire missile up their ass by now.
Islam as a whole is mainly to blame, for not fighting hard to weed out these assholes who are ruining their entire faith. If you were at a sold out Harlem movie theater with your family, and they started yelling "nigg$r! nigg$r! nigg$r" -- you'd tell them to cut it out so you can live. |

it is fake...they updated the article

trying to ban belief systems in 2013, that's progress.
go humans! |
dyna mo...belief systems? Don't you mean fairy tales and superstitions?
Which would be fine...except for the fact that those various fairy tales and superstitions have caused the world to be a nightmare of wars and slaughter since the dawn of man. Not to mention the control they exert on society. ALL religion should be exposed by intelligent society as what it is: A fraud. |

Update, 2:32 p.m., Nov. 25, 2013: Officials at the Angolan Embassy in Washington, D.C., denied Monday that the nation has banned Islam and dismantled mosques, disputing published news accounts and stating that they cannot authenticate comments reportedly made by top Angolan officials that support the claims.
|
nope, i meant belief system. if someone wants to believe in fairy tales, they have that right.
because the big problem is who gets to decide which belief systems are fairy tales and superstitions that need to be banned. obviously, by the comment made, you think you get to decide what people legally get to believe in. that's a big prob you'll prolly need to burn a lot of books. i'd bring lighter fluid. be sure and ban children from the tooth fairy too, eh. and santa claus. |
That's the funny thing. If the do this now its bad, if they don't it's bad. It's loose loose when you are dealing with fanatics who believe their god wants them to kill.

But let's be intellectually honest...anything that has the word "belief" in it like "belief system" means that it's not real. It's just shit somebody made up out of thin air and collects money on. In other words, if it were called anything BUT "religion", it would be labeled consumer fraud and shut down & people would go to prison. So I don't think anybody needs to ponder WHICH "belief systems" are banned. They should ALL be relegated to "fiction" in the book stores and libraries. |
