Free One Way Backlinks

I've created a site that follows the 'article marketing' method mainstream sites use to get backlinks. My thinking was that I would get half a dozen or so articles for it before submitting it to bing and google. At this point the articles I'm looking for are just website introductions. You can look at the two I did as samples. I linked to my domain twice then did a brief description of 3 posts. Each post had a link back to the post and a link to the affiliate program I got the content from (so I'd stay out of trouble). They also have to read like 'book reviews' for your porn site. I can't do any link dumps if I want this to work. I figure we'll need the posts to be a couple hundred words, but longer is better.

I'm not looking to get anything out of this other than backlinks and I think it'll look better if there are more sites than just the 2 I'm trying to promote. No fees, I don't want a commission, I just want content and you get backlinks.

If there is interest and we see that this is going to work, I'm ready to pull the trigger on a half dozen more sites that do the same thing. The content will have to be unique on each (no copy and paste) or google will penalize it. I'm also thinking of having a post category of 'content update' where you can basically describe more of your posts and get more links.

If you're interested email me with the subject line Site Articles at killianAtSiteArticlesDotNet. I figure the easiest way to do this is a text file with tags for your links and for your images pointed to the image file on your server. Attach one image to be the featured image for the post since I don't know how to do that with a remote img.

I'm also open to any and all advice about how to make this better or why it won't work if it won't. I just wanted to give it a try. I hope to hear from you.

Killian

If my email doesn't work...

I'm using a new setup for my mail hosting, so if you have any trouble emailing me post it here and I'll come up with an alternative.

PS: sig rules say 3 lines of text max - just a heads up :winkwink:

They are just wordpress blog posts. Why don't you just allow new authors to register and make posts?
You also need to get some links to your site otherwise the backlinks are useless. Try Linkspun.com

I will eventually let people set up their own, but I'm alpha testing this idea and for now want control of what gets posted, especially in our industry. The consequences of somebody signing up and putty illegal content all over the place are too frightening to contemplate.

There are 2 pieces to your second remark... My understanding is that a one-way backlink from a 0 still has value, though clearly not as much as if it had a 2 or 3 or more. So I don't think under their rules, a 0 backlink is worthless. Just look at all the zeros trading with each other on Linkspun.

As for using Linkspun, I understood that google's latest algorithm change made 1 to 1 backlink trades a net negative, worse than worthless, they actually take away from your standing. That's why the idea was to create 1 way links even if they were from a 0.

On the last 2 portions I'd be interested to hear if you or anyone else had heard differently on the way the rules work since the last algorithm overhaul. I'm working off the understanding that all backlinks have some value, as long as they're not traded links.

I just checked the wordpress Roles and Capabilities page, its a Contributor you should allow "somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them", so you'd need to approve the post before it's published, even if they edit it later you still need to approve the edit.

If in zero you mean PR0, yes it still counts, but I was meaning you have no backlinks to your site. You need backlinks to your site to give it some authority and link juice flow, obviously the better quality links are best but PR0 links are better than no links.

Linkspun isn't 1 to 1 backlink trade, its ABCD, you need some sites to use for linking out and don't link out from your money sites. These links are still good, but you need to be careful what links you get as theres lots of shit on there like site-wide footer links with 100+ OBL's with no incoming links, these will definately give a negative effect.

Postkings.com also do ABCD links with contextual blog posts links that you write yourself on the other users blog, these are better links for ranking but theres not many members yet.

A good tactic it to use Linkspun for branded anchors to give your site authority and use Postkings for exact match keyword anchors for ranking.

Sign up process

There's been some confusion, so I wanted to clear up. This is a little bit of a low tech process.

1. Sign up at sitearticles.net
2. Email [email protected] with your username and the sites you plan to promote.
3. As long as you're legal and not a link dump, I'll convert your user to a contributor and email you.
4. Sign in to the site, write your articles in WordPress, and you're set.

Thanks!

Did you send me an email with what sites you're going to promote? I've got a new email account I don't fully trust yet, but I didn't get anything.

No. Give me a couple of minutes to set up an email for this purpose and I'll publish it on here.

Registration Email

When you send me your email, please use [email protected] I'm having trouble with the email I published earlier.

Zeiss 12-02-2013 11:53 AM

Mail sent.

killianmckay 12-02-2013 03:27 PM

When you Email me...

Turns out my email was working but because of pr0n we're all considered junkmail. :winkwink: I'll check in there as often as I can, but if you have a non-pr0n email address it might work better. I won't use the emails for anything. But if you sign up and don't hear from me, you'll know your email was screened out.

As in why am I not charging or why am I pointing out that I'm not charging? If the former, I just want some content on the site so it's more than just my articles about my sites. So you get free backlinks and I get content. If the latter, because a lot of sites charge for backlinks so I'm making it clear that I'm not charging.

I had actually considered putting up a half dozen or so of these sites and selling a package where I write the articles, include pictures, and links and take care of everything for a fee, but I'm not sure if I want to do that and if there would be interest, so I went this way.
