Site making $1400+ a month for sale
 

I have an adult site that covers adult establishments and entertainment all over the world. It's a year old. It wasn't making much early on (I even posted here about that) but I worked out the kinks and for the last few months it's been doing really well. I don't mind running the site but if I could get a lump sum I'd like to get it because I have an idea for another project I'd like to try.

Site info:

160,000 uniques over the last 30 days. 441,350 pageviews.

Oct 2013 earnings: $1401

1110 - promoting 4 different webcam programs
142 - direct banner ad sales, some renew every month, some every 3 months
36 - promoting adult review and porn sites
123 - promoting sex toys

Nov 2013 earnings: $1440

1098 - promoting 4 different webcam programs
142 - direct banner ad sales, some renew every month, some every 3 months
87 - promoting adult review and porn sites
113 - promoting sex toys

It's a blog / review format running on Wordpress. Early on I updated daily, but for the last six months I've been updating 5-7 times a month. My posts are long and detailed and that seems to work well. I already have content queued up that will automatically post on this same schedule from now until April 2014.

Hosting and domain are also paid up for the year.

The new owner doesn't actually have to do anything. Some 20% of the hits are return visitors looking at the updates, but the rest are from Google and those are spending the money. My site is the top result for a dozen strong keywords on Google and Bing.

I will provide proof of all income, traffic, etc., to serious buyers.

I will only sell if I get a reasonable offer. I'd also be okay with continuing on with it if I can't get a decent price.

Yes, really. Why sell it for less when I could just collect the same amount of money over the next ten months? Would you sell a rental property that earned 500 a month for less than $5000?

Ten to twelve times monthly earnings is pretty standard. Some sites sell for a lot more than that.

Not for an adult site, 6 - 8 months is standard.

I don't know about that, but this isn't a standard adult site in any case. I'm quite happy to continue maintaining it and I wouldn't consider selling it for less than 10 times November's income. For less than that it just makes more sense to continue pulling in the monthly income, especially since the site is already scheduled to update on a regular basis until April, meaning I don't have to do anything but collect monthly payments.
