5 days? wow go have a cig!

JockoHomo 12-06-2013 02:37 AM

Cold turkey is actually the most effective way and leads to the fewest relapses.

John-ACWM 12-06-2013 02:44 AM

Congrats, hope you won't feel the need for those nasty cigarettes again.

Just started considering this again, because of throat issues... :(
I LOVE rolling splifs though and I would be doomed if there's no more rolling in the house... :(

pinkz 12-06-2013 05:37 AM

I tried a vape when I was quitting, eventually the thought of smoking glycerine infused with nicotine was somewhat off putting and tasted disgusting. Have not had a smoke or vape in 6 months now, good luck with your quest to quit.

campimp 12-06-2013 05:53 AM

3 years here no cigs, just vaping.... best thing ever!!

stick with it another week and then go buy some green grapes.... you will be amazed how good they taste :)

when you are starting to vape, make sure to drink tons of water so as not to dry you throat out, your throat will hurt if you don't down a bunch of water

BoardiesBitch 12-06-2013 06:27 AM

good job, keep on vaping!

7 months with no cigs, only vaping for me.
now when i smell people coming from outside who just had a smoke, i want to puke.
can't believe i have been smoking that sh*t for years...

Hexor 12-06-2013 10:11 AM

Hello,

I'm planning on trying them out. What site/company do you suggest?

I'm looking for something that feels similar to the normal cigarettes, you know that throat feeing. :)

Thank you!

Thank you!

I picked up an Innokin iTaste vv V3 two weekends ago. Tomorrow will be two full weeks for me without a cig.

The throat hit is identical to a cigarette. 16mg of nicotine e-liquid completely satisfies the cravings.

After two weeks - two thumbs up all the way.

Why get addicted to another product? sounds stupid.

Nice set up

Provari is the shit!! But if you really want good taste and massive clouds, get into "Rebuildable Tanks"

Kangers are OK, but I moved into these:

Kayfun Lite Plus, Rebuildable

This rebuildable Atomizer with a Provari or high end mechanical mod is night and day different from using a cheap Kanger 2 or 3. Trust me!!

I've been vaping for a while now too. NICE WORK! You can get lower level nicotine too!

Grats - I'm vaping as I type this

iSpyCams 03-05-2014 03:31 PM

I got into vaping so I could use weed without stinking up the house and alerting the neighbors but I've been vaping a little nicotine too since I have been a casual smoker for awhile, I cant even imagine a cigarette now, so disgusting.

TurboAngel 03-05-2014 03:34 PM

Congrats!

SilentKnight 03-05-2014 04:32 PM

Been vaping for 3 months 13 days. Haven't had a cig since the first day of vaping.

mineistaken 03-05-2014 04:48 PM

Next step - drop it all together.

Major (Tom) 03-05-2014 06:12 PM

I know smoking is tough to quit, but I never understood why someone even starts. I mean pot a few times a month to give you different perspectives & angles on things, but a pack of ciggs a day at 7 bucks a pack? I cannot wrap my head around that.
Best of luck to those trying quit & congrats to those who did.
Best

Same here. I tried cigs but I did not understand the point of:
poisoning yourself
making yourself smell bad
wasting money

Pretty stupid.

Stole my answer.

Actually, they were just under a dollar a pack if memory serves.

Chicago you'd be looking at $12-$13 a pack. I buy them outside of Chicago and it's like $5-$6 a pack so just shows how much tax/sin tax cook county adds. I quit cold turkey for over a year and then picked it back up. Pretty soon when a chick asks for a smoke you'll be able to get a hummer for one. :1orglaugh Honestly I love to smoke and besides beer/vodka only bad shit I do. Hopefully someday I'll actually quit for good.

Aric 03-07-2014 06:47 PM

I quit smoking analog cigs on New Year's and have been vaping exclusively since -- incorrectly I might add... http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_c...y_hit_an_ecig/ ... now I get much better draws :upsidedow

I've been using a simple starter eGo Twist and now waiting for my Innokin iTaste SVD mod to arrive ... can't wait!

My clearomizer of choice right now is the Aspire Nautilus tank with adjustable airflow... a bit more expensive, but wow, what a difference. Highly recommended -- blows away any Kanger tank (no sputtering or flooding, etc.)

aztecboi2003 03-23-2014 05:46 PM

Just bought an O.pen Vape pen yesterday. This thing is awesome and super easy to use. Smoking so AK47 and it hits hard. :thumbsup

SilentKnight 03-23-2014 06:22 PM

Been vaping just over 4 months now - haven't had a single cig.

It's the longest I've been smokefree after 35 years of smoking.

brassmonkey 03-23-2014 06:27 PM

you got the vapors dogg

Pornopat 03-24-2014 01:40 AM

Congrats man. My biz partner has been vaping since xmas
