Is The Universe A Hologram? Physicists Say It's Possible
http://i.huffpost.com/gen/1510577/th...E-large570.jpg A team of physicists has provided some of the clearest evidence yet that our Universe could be just one big projection. In 1997, theoretical physicist Juan Maldacena proposed that an audacious model of the Universe in which gravity arises from infinitesimally thin, vibrating strings could be reinterpreted in terms of well-established physics. The mathematically intricate world of strings, which exist in nine dimensions of space plus one of time, would be merely a hologram: the real action would play out in a simpler, flatter cosmos where there is no gravity. This article was incredibly poorly researched. Although there is something to the holographic universe theory, the way they've extrapolated is incorrect to say the least. The conclusions are actually for different reasons, and the mathematical parity is akin to a parlor trick. It also misquotes the number of physical dimensions in the leading branches of string theory.
As usual, Huff gets is sideways at best when dealing with real science. |

fucking not true, i have better theorem!

"David Icke has no contact with reality at all, and talks about shape-shifting, pan-dimensional reptilians, running the world (sometimes operating from a base on the moon or the hollow earth) - and is believed by millions of demented people, wholly cut off from reason."
