Smooth Move Barack Oslickster lol

This kicks ass:

Obama to skip Olympic games, selects gay athletes for Sochi delegation

http://www.lgbtqnation.com/2013/12/o..._SnXV.facebook

Yeah yeah whatever you think of him, this is a pretty snark barbed fuck in the face of Putin's new anti-gay law and pretty funny...

As long as neither delegate ends up in a gulag for 20 years... yikes!

:D

garce 12-17-2013 09:18 PM

And now you can try that again, but using English. Fucking illiterate.

Why are Canadians so interested in US politics.

You have the best guy of them all, that Mayor.... The crackhead. Why bother with us?

Sorry man, but there is no anti-gay laws in Russia :sadcrying

slavdogg 12-18-2013 01:24 AM

i think the liberal media is making a huge deal of the russia's gay laws or non gay laws in russia. Progressives love creating conflicts when one does not exist to stir shit up. This is a prime example of that shit from Obama lovers, trying to create international conflicts and take the attention from their own ineptitude back home.

Stephen Fry made a documentary about different countries and their attitudes to homosexuality. The episode where he went to Russia was horrific.

for **********, for starters.

“Of course we can recall the cabinet minister in Saskatchewan Colin Thatcher found guilty of murdering his wife. Or Richard Hadfield in New Brunswick who famously cruised around in his limo looking for young men,” notes Dennis Pilon with York University.

He also mentions Premier Gordon Campbell’s famous DUI.

Regardless of your opinion of Barack Obama, you have to admit sending Billie Jean King as US Delegate to the Sochi Olympic games is a brilliant slap in the face of Vladmir Putin's new law against disseminating "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations", and a funny one at that.

And I (only slightly) exagerated a bit by saying that I hope Billie Jean King doesn't get arrested and up in Russian prison.

On June 30 this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed into law a bill banning the "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations to minors," thus opening a new, dark chapter in the history of gay rights in Russia.
- Russia's Anti-Gay Law, Spelled Out in Plain English

But... technically you're right since the law doesn't specifically mention any of the "nontraditional sexual relations" in question.

Sorry, but Google is not a Civil or Criminal Code and has no validity in courts. The only article which mentions "nontraditional sexual relations" is an article 6.21 in Code on Administrative Violations (note it's not even a Criminal Code).

The article says exactly the following:

Please explain.

Exactly! Now the one can be fined 4000..5000 rubles (about $125..$156) for promoting homosexuality to children. What's wrong with that? How exactly it can be considered as anti-gay? Is it that thing the Western peeps whine about? For real? WTF with you guys?

Well let's say Billie Jean King kisses her girlfriend casually at a reception, she could be subject to incarceration or a fine or both. Even if there aren't kids there (I mean, the "save the children" trope is so over used), if a picture is snapped of the moment and distributed to media, there might be children who see it.

And come to think of it, this law is so vague, the photographer could be busted too.

I haven't heard that the law has been used or enforced yet, so I guess it's wait and see. But it's a stupid law, too vague and potentially dangerously misused.

:D

Once again, it's not anti-gay at all. To give you a picture of what exactly this article is targeting at. Let's imagine that some adult guy tells your under-aged son something like: "Hey kid, you know it's cool to be a gay. I mean to fuck another man's assholes and suck their dicks. You definitely should try it!" I don't know about you, but if that was my son, I would beat shit out that dude who would even try to tell him something like that. I sincerely believe that $156 is a very easy punishment :2 cents:

Well I certainly hope that's the sort of thing targetted by the law, rather than my example. Remains to be seen I guess. We'll just have to wait on how they define "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations"...

And you won't hear it. There are too many of disinformation in the Western media. You got told that Russia has an anti-gay law, but in fact it hasn't (see the article 6.21 above).

In other thread, the US guys were 100% sure that Moscow is more criminal than NYC (the homicide rate) because they were told so on TV. But when we have compared the official police stats for last few years, everybody was able to see, that the new "super-low" homicide rate in NYC is still much higher than in "criminal" Moscow.

Don't trust to all that Fox/CNN/BBC propaganda.

You're right.

It would seem that LGBT groups are misguided then. I don't trust anything I see on "Fox/CNN/BBC" btw, but there are vocal proponents in the LGBT community who are calling foul on this law and see it as I described, so I accepted that.

I've also heard though that homophobia is strong in Russia. Is that so?

Looking at this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_culture_in_Russia

I would say Russia has come a long way. In 1989, 31 percent of the Russian population said in polls that homosexuals should be executed, and 32 percent said they should be isolated.

Also on this page it talks about how LGBT venues are being more excepted in large cities

Sure man, Wikipedia is the greatest source of the true knowledge. Just keep reading it ;)

P.S. Vendz, all these articles are cool, but isn't it easier to ask a man who lives in Moscow about of real situation here? I've just gave a Google link to Moscow gay clubs. There is a shitload of them and they are definitely can't be considered as "underground" places.

I was listening to you, just like to get other links, adds to your cred. I have heard from others in the gay community about the clubs in Moscow. Heard they were pretty good.

I want to go to Moscow someday, maybe not the gay clubs, but I love the architecture they have there. I believe it would be a great adventure to have and will hit up my friends in the area when I go there. Next year in March, I'm going to China. I'm going to see the great wall, the Terra Cotta warriors. Going to spend 4 nights on the Yanzi river. Even going to visit a silk factory. All sorts of cool stuff in a 14 day trip.

Plenty of US politicians are butt hurt over Snowden, it's one of the few things they can all agree on..

Aside from that, why so much hate? Just because I think your political views could only be shared with those whom live in an insane asylum, doesn't mean I'd wish any ill will toward you. I'd never point an laugh because your car caught on fire.. Why is it you extreme right conservatives are so filled with hate and rage? It's like you are a bunch of angry teenagers that are scared to jerk off because your mom might catch you.

As for VW vanagons, they are pretty awesome and fires only happen when they have neglectful owners whom fail to replace their 20 to 30 year old fuel lines. As for the picture you posted, that was a VW Bus a completely different animal.

Just an advice. If you want to visit Moscow, make sure to do it on a late spring or on summer. Autumn and almost a whole winter here are ugly (most time it's about 0 Celsius, rain and slush).

LOL, I love how you stick up for an engine made of magnesium and thinks that's good in a van that catches fire, just proves how little you know.

I've looked into the best times to go and found March to be agreeable given the cold and the wet season and the crowds. Lower sized crowds, I will take a little cold!! Thanx for the advice!!!!!

LoL I never said the engines are good. I said the vans are awesome because there is nothing built today that can match their diverse usability. As far as the motors, they were under powered from the factory, but they still get you where you want to go.. There are loads of engine conversions that can be done if you want more power. However the very fact that so many of these vans are still on the road today, shows how good they were.

It's amazing what the media passes on to us as "news" these days. :(

I've been watching AlJazeera America lately and I'm seeing things going on in the world that are REALLY bad, and not even a whisper of it on CNN or Fox News or MSNBC or CBS or NBC or ABC. :(

Watching this morning about what's going on in Central Africa Republic. Horrible.

And immigrants being treated like they are in concentration camps in Italy.

And oh yeah...anybody remember that war in Syria that Obama and the press made THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD a few months back?

It's still happening. And the Syrian govt. has been dropping "Barrel Bombs" (barrels FULL of exposives) on a town there for 4 straight days.

And that's just a tiny part of what's going on in the world.

But watching our "National News" channels? You wouldn't know shit.
CNN, MSNBC, FNC, ABC, CBS, and NBC are like some local news channel with "folksie" stories and nonsense that used to only be found on the National Enquirer at the grocery store checkout. :(

Obama tweaking Putin by naming Billy Jean King to the Olympics....fucking stupid. And part of the reason our country is so goddamned ignorant.

The problem is, ABC, CNN, Fox ect..ect are not really "World News". Yes they have affiliates around the world but they are not really interested at what goes on out side of the US if it doesn't directly affect the lives of those in the US.

If you want to get a better scope of actual world news, watch your local PBS when they do their News Hours.. They do a range of different news programs from around the world. They have a hour of Asian News, a Jewish News hour, a hour from RT, one from AlJazeera and a few others.

Regardless of what anyone says, they all have their own agenda's just like US news and it's all fairly easy to spot once you watch them for a while. You really aren't going to find a unbiased media. You just have to take bits and pieces and put them together into a overall picture.

VW if I remember right is the biggest car company in the world. So yeah, there are a lot of them.
They just sucked on speed and they are a bomb if they catch fire. We use to take the engine blocks and throw them into camp fires at the beach to get them to burn. Had the fire trucks show up more than once.
