Living in Dallas???????

I'm leaving California soon and want to move to a city that is more affordable, more small-business friendly, warm weather and no state tax.
Austin is cool but it's too expensive.

Anyone living in Dallas and liking it?

Go to Phoenix, Denver outskirts or Charlotte. All affordable and SMB friendly.

It is? I thought Austin was the most expensive city when comparing cost of living to Dallas / SA / Houston

if i were to live in Austin it would only be Soco or downtown and those areas are way expensive

it is http://www.bizjournals.com/austin/bl...stin-most.html - Austin most expensive city in Texas

I've thought about Austin in the past and Austin is not THAT much cheaper than California. So there'd be no point in moving there, I might as well stay here
