I don't think so. Furthermore, I don't think he was a true "communist" at all. He was a man who just designed a real legendary weapon. The most known and most popular than any other brand around the Globe.

He was real weapon super star, too bad that weapon wasn't created during WW2 but few years late. Fucking NAZI Germany would be striped down even faster...

His invention has killed more people then any other weapon in history. Not sure if he was happy about that.

haha yeah. It's kind of funny that the best thing Russians are known for is an instrument of death. No one ever powered their home with an AK47. They may have killed everyone in that home with one, but not used it to turn on the lights.

He was a NATIONALIST who built a weapon for protecting his country. You have to RESPECT (no one is talking about love here) such a man. RIP Mikhail. You gave all people struggling to be FREE the world over a powerful, reliable, simple tool to fight for their own motherland. Ideology aside, you can't hate on such a man.

If he didn't do it, someone else would have. Or maybe not.

It's definitely impressive that a gun model that old is still floating around the world...and popular. You can't say that for the m1 Garand, or even the tommy gun.
