I know I am "programmed" to think something, for example this: In my country where you aren't allowed to have carry guns, we had a staggering murder rate of 0.9 for every 100K citizens. While in the US that count was 4.7 where almost everyone can own and carry a gun.

Even if the murder rate is going down, it's not exactly great. For example, Yemen, Niger, Palestine have better ratios than the US.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the US. But saying more guns will cause less murders is the stupidest thing I've heard all day today. No offence intended.
