Lost, Breaking Bad.. What's Next?

Ok, so I don't watch much TV but I got both of these box sets and loved them both. Enjoyed watching a couple of episodes a night.

What should I watch next?

Feng-PD 01-12-2014 02:08 PM

homeland, the wire, the soprano's, entourage, californication, game of thrones, rome, suits etc etc

Tittytweaker 01-12-2014 02:13 PM

I second Game Of Thrones.

Give Sons of Anarchy a shot. Quality is getting iffy these days but it can still be enjoyable. First three seasons are definitely good.

Hell On Wheels is pretty good. Post Civil War time period.

Also Sherlock. Each season is three episodes long, but each episode is like an hour and a half, so they are like little movies. I'm re watching the first two seasons in preparation for the third.

Paul&John 01-12-2014 02:35 PM

House of Cards (netflix)

Fetish Gimp 01-12-2014 02:36 PM

Justified. You got four seasons to catch up :)

rickstercreative 01-12-2014 02:40 PM

I followed Breaking Bad with Dexter .... It wasn't a let down at all (except for the last episode!).

mineistaken 01-12-2014 02:41 PM

I am jealous, so many good shows to catch up. Most of them already mentioned.

Deadwood is one more from me.

diablom 01-12-2014 02:44 PM

entourage or suits. Also How I met your mother (comedy, like friends)

vittle 01-12-2014 03:23 PM

Person of Interest in pretty good. From some of the same people behind Lost and you will recognize some of the same actors. Added some hot girls in season 3!

KittenBoheme 01-12-2014 03:32 PM

Mad Men, Walking Dead, White Collar, Prison Break, Lie to Me, Weeds... Oh god I watch too much tv.

Lichen 01-12-2014 03:37 PM

Generation Kill
The Tudors

brassmonkey 01-12-2014 03:40 PM

J. Falcon 01-12-2014 03:42 PM

Creatine 01-12-2014 03:54 PM

Supz 01-12-2014 03:55 PM

They canceled Deadwood and never finished it. Don't bother it will just piss you off. Was a awesome series but they just leave you hanging..

I disagree. No sense of not enjoying a good show just because you would want to see more and would not get it.

mineistaken 01-12-2014 04:05 PM

Shameless should be probably mentioned as well.

livexxx 01-12-2014 04:10 PM

Take a load of meth and re-watch BB

David - PG 01-12-2014 04:57 PM

I really love "The Americans". Season #2 should start soon.

Magnetron 01-12-2014 05:02 PM

The Following
Fringe ( despite the final episode making absolutely no sense )

mozadek 01-12-2014 05:05 PM

Yea, I didn't think I would like it. But I thought it was pretty good. "The Americans" and "Justified" are the ones I watch.

"True Detective" looks good too. But will have to wait and see.

rickstercreative 01-12-2014 05:11 PM

I'm also watching "Big Love" on HBO GO. If you wanna see Bill Paxton's butt a whole bunch of times, it's a sure bet ..... In all honesty, it's interesting to see a show talk about polygamy in a neutral light - I won't be marrying 3 wives anytime soon, but it's funny to see what happens and the chaos that ensues.

Could never feel the same about that show once I found out the laugh track is synthesized.

Never understand how the second season is not the worst, the writing was horrific .

Californication
Sherlock

The League
Suits
Games of Thrones
The Americans
Homeland
Person of Interest
Generation Kill

mikesouth 01-13-2014 12:26 PM

Justified is hands down the best writing on TV, I am bummed that Elmore Leonard died last year dunno how that will fare for the show.

I also second The Wire, The Shield, Hell On Wheels, and house of cards

also recommend The Newsroom

What an awful way to end such a great series - without any explanation as to how "a" Peter Bishop ends up meeting and marrying Olivia and both of them having the daughter you see in the finale.

Scott McD 01-13-2014 01:14 PM

Revolution!

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. Season one, I thought, was really strong, and I think I always kind of blend season 2 and 3 in my mind. I keep forgetting that the Jimmy O and Stahl problems get taken care of in season 3. I thought the white nationalists storyline was kind of pointless since they were pretty much throw away villains who we haven't seen again.

What'd you think of the latest season?
