$1500 for a cosplay outfit wtf?
 

So a friend of mine just told me she has a custom order for a cosplay outfit (Final Fantasy themed) for two of her nerd friends, she apparently does a lot of Etsy type gamer/nerd stuff and this is her biggest order yet.

Its not something I understand (cosplay) overall but I guess its actually a huge market segment, is there any way to monetize this stuff without needing to be a nerd yourself?

I thought about throwing up some lead generation pages for this type of shit and just forwarding them to her for a cut of the sale, anyone have any experience doing this type of stuff privately without using affiliate programs?

The only girls I know who are into it do all the sewing themselves. Always got the impression from them that making the costume was part of the fun of it.

lots of cheap ones are cheap quality and not very good.
