Gov Christie being investigated for improper use of funds
 

Seems Christie is now being investigated for improper use of funds. Seems Christie got federal funds for reconstruction in NJ after the Sandy storm, and $4mil of it was used to make a commercial about how "NJ is open for business". If I understand this correctly, there was a bidding process for this commercial, and instead of taking the lowest qualified bid they took the highest - which was twice as high lower bid. (Seriously, $4mill for a thirty second commercial? That should be a crime in itself.)

The other problem seems to be the commercial featured Christie and his family - while he was in the middle of campaigning.

Is Christie being targeted because he might be a threat in the next presidential election, or are they setting him up with potential scandals so they can drag them up later when he's running?

Or is this exactly what we should expect from New Jersey politicians?

The "investigation" into this was brought on by a democratic rep who is a very vocal critic of Christie.

And the rep said. "This is not about politics" lmfao....
