Our alexa rank is like 380k you do not get that much traffic. Maybe like 800 visitors per day I would expect.

I think you should be getting that a week with that traffic, personally.

Don't know about mainstream, but 50K uniques of decent adult traffic could score about $400 - 500 monthly.

If you can use it in right way and find sponsors then it can make hundred of dollars dalily. But there are some niches hard to monetize. Mainstream works in different way. It's very important to have traffic from "value" countries.

I think its a good result.
But you can always do it better.
I would invest in onpage optimization, responsive design , leverage of outgoing thumbs on homepage to increase PV.

Stats might be counting uniques from hotlinkers, so you get unrealistic figure... icamz is right, you have around 800 real uniques maybe, so earnings are not bad at all

Too many ads to users is unfriendly. You should test, adjust the position of your ad distribution.

Ads do turn people away but if you are getting mostly bot traffic then its not eyeballs. Try giving something away and see if you get sign ups if you do they are live breathing people if you do not then its just bot traffic and you have to work harder.

add articles to the site…. you can get them written for cheap and get something pretty good, just need to find the right person…. but those articles will get people reading and sticking around.

somehow build an email list from all the traffic. have a banner or something on the side… build an email list so you can mail them offers and whatnot.

this way you're getting something from all the traffic.

Our uniques are about 2,000/ day, ( our Alexa is about 500 K) we do about 10 K/ month. How is that? I seem to get a hassle from my boss ....

bot traffic is not eyeballs. Focus on content and grow real eyeballs

quality over quantity... damn if I wouldn't make at least a few thousands $ out of 50k unique I'd hang myself :) but even shit traffic can be monetized well if you're smart...
