Weather forecasting: The only career where you can be wrong the majority of the time and still keep your job.

Only been getting worse all week. Last I heard was 8-12 and possibly more down here in Maryland. Radio actually just said it's supposed to be a foot or more. Should be a blasty-blast!

Once it starts coming down heavily I am getting my ass home!

I completely agree, but to be totally fair, when they say "50% chance of rain", what they are actually referring to is that it will rain over 50% of the area that they are covering. If they say, for example, that there is 30% chance of rain in Broward county, then it means that there will be rain in 30% of the county. They can't get any closer to telling you if it will actually rain on your house, but just how much of the county will be hit by rain.

you know I was like WTF about that too but you know what it means when they say 50%? I was told it will rain on 50% of the area they cover LOL so you can never know shit or if they are right because if it does not rain you are part of the 50% that did not get rain. 90% and it does not rain means every fucker you know got rained on then LOL. They might as well get a smoking hot girl to do the weather because anyone can do it
