Might be interesting....
One thing I don't understand is if you are playing someplace where it's cold and snows, why don't you have a freaking roof over the football field? Duh. |

My opinion: If you schedule the Superbowl in a cold weather stadium that doesn't have a dome, you know damn well you're gambling with the weather. Goodell/NFL should be prepared for shitty weather.
And my opinion, let it fucking snow. But play the game as scheduled. Don't give me this shit about adding to many variables and teams can't play up to par in snowy weather. Good teams adapt. Some great games were played this season in the snow (Detroit @ Philadelphia). I would love to see an extra variable thrown into the Superbowl. |

I'm one of them; the lights fucks with me all game, the air is like breathing through a stale towel and the artificial turf is as hard as pavement. Turf was hell years ago but it has improved big time so maybe I wouldn't mind turf these days. The biggest scars I have on my body now were all made from turf when I played. |
CANCEL THE SUPERBOWL!!
Mike Ditka has chimed in with all of his infinite wisdom: Quote:

Wait, remind me what NFL city Ditka coached in again? :upsidedow |
Ditka's a legend for a couple reasons, one being he's bitchy.

80,000 fans are going to be pissed off if that happens. 80,000 plans ruined and needing to be reworked just because some overpaid pussies don't want to slug it out in the elements? That's exactly what 80,000 people are looking forward to.
The NFL won't move the game day. Too big a risk of backlash from pissed off fans who made plans weeks ago. |
