I haven't listened to your podcast yet, so I apologize if it's been answered there, but how does your system differ from Real Touch Interactive?

Our affiliate program is still being developed but the intention is that there will be a commission for the referral of new users that load their wallets. Commission on hardware sales are trickier because we don't actually make any of the devices, we're just the killer app for these devices and in many ways we are an affiliate ourselves even for those devices that are exclusive to FriXion. This will be worked out before we launch the open beta. Many sites do commissions on referring "models" however FriXion is a "flat" experience where everyone can "broadcast," so it gets a bit abstract to separate who is a "model" and who is a "viewer." It may be that models/studios themselves use a subscription for features specific to their use of the platform and affiliates will get a kickback from these transactions.

Our invite-only beta site will be coming online in the next few weeks and we're really excited about that. It wont be monetized at the beginning, as the primary intention is to prove that long distance sex is real -- not just camgirl sex, not shows with props, but actual intimacy between real participants. It's also a proof that our API that is capable of asymmetrical configurations between disparite devices. The monetization and affiliate structures will be iterated on top of this proof of concept over the next months.
