The position is in-house and full time.

You'd be working in our Las Vegas office, under the direction of...me :)

no telecommuting at this point, though it may be possible after a 90 day trial run

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Basic knowledge of WordPress including working with large scale, multi-user WordPress sites

2. Setting up WordPress Themes

3. Setting up WordPress Plug-ins

4. Slicing and Optimizing (PSD to XHTML)

5. PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress

6. Experience in creating landing pages and microsites for various marketing programs including affiliate programs

7. Development of staging and production environment

8. Optimizing meta tags, headers and link building

9. Familiarity with Google Webmaster Tools

10. Experience with authority sculpting, site redirect strategies, URL rewriting methods and best practices

11. A/B split and multivariate testing

12. Experience optimizing sites for mobile users

13. Monitor site performance using Google Webmaster Tools to identify site issues, crawl errors, 404 errors, etc.

14. Ad hoc projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Solid understanding of Web design, UI design principles and information architecture, as well as an understanding of current and emerging trends.

2. Solid understanding of workflow, business intelligence tools, spreadsheets, web analytics, and digital marketing (e.g., SEO, social, affiliate)

3. Strong HTML and CSS skills and experience

4. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

5. Must be organized and task oriented

6. Ability to operate independently and efficiently with a clear attention to detail

7. Ability to work in a team environment and to share ideas, influence effectively and builds strong relationships

* basically, the ability to set up wordpress sites, mini-sites, landers, etc. should be able to find workarounds when needed and with minimal supervision
