wordpress subdomain install?

Im trying to install wordpress at amerinoc.com. Im wanting subdomain.url.com

But from what ive done i got

subdomain.url.com/wp/
subdomain3.url.com/wp/

Etc

Is there A easy fix. I cant seem to figure it out. I was thinking of learning to do a clean install. I used the one click install that amerinoc offers.

This is wrong forum for asking question....correct forum would be this one : https://gfy.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27

Download WP directly and install clean within your subdomain then you should have subdomain.url.com and not subdomain.url.com/wp/. Your hosting provider's auto install creating "wp" sub-directory.

if you want to modify current installation, you can do that as well but you have to move all the files from "wp" directory to subdomain's root and change that wordpress URL in two places by going to your phpmyadmin.

you are choosing directory where to install wp, just check the installation options once again :winkwink: not sure how amerinoc, but i think its standart when installing wp to choose where to install it :winkwink: have luck :)

I think i have multisite set up allready. Is this even possible? I want to install wp once. And then use word press to signup new sites
example
subdomain1.url.com/
subdomain2.url.com/

I have a index file allready at the domain for url.com So it wont allow me to install wp there unless i delete (index.php)
I want the index file its a site.
Or would it only work on a new domain. That doesn't have another site all ready in root directory.
