Bloggers - Has commission transparency increased your sales?
I'm wondering if any bloggers here utilize commission transparency. You know, instead of hiding the fact that you're making commission from product links, making that info more transparent. I've seen bloggers do this in their sidebars or at the bottom of posts, in author bylines..
Has anyone seen an increase in sales due to this or are readers more turned off by it, would you say? Any advice here would be great. (I'd like to mention that I do have a disclosure policy on my blog where I list how much commission I may make but it's not really in-your-face as I've seen on other blogs.) |
I think certain countries laws require it. I am not sure if it helps or not.
