How many sites do you manage?

I got about 40 right now, there was a time I had over 100. I just think boiling things down to a few is better to get shit done. :2 cents:

How many domains do you run?

The Porn Nerd 02-25-2014 03:36 PM

Right now I'm running 37 paysites, two affiliate programs and two networks.
No sleep til Brooklyn!!

Nice! I only have about 10 I really focus on. Multi-task master.

nexcom28 02-25-2014 04:07 PM

35 domains
3 or 4 that I actively update
Another 6 or 7 that I add to when I get time

The rest, I keep just because.

michael.kickass 02-25-2014 04:44 PM

30 domains :thumbsup

signupdamnit 02-25-2014 05:33 PM

Down to two real sites. Only one do I focus on and not very much lately. I have several other domains but they are more filters for traffic or whitelabels. I focus on dating and webcams.

30+ paysites and about 450 blogs

SilentKnight 02-25-2014 05:56 PM

Two paysites - down from four.

Wellness Cash 02-25-2014 06:02 PM

Working on 45 membership sites, have about 25 built and submitted waiting on the billing to go live, also working on 2 affiliate programs and a bunch of feeder projects.

lucas131 02-25-2014 06:43 PM

850 domains, about 40 niche blogs updated regularly, some review sites, 6bot, some forums for posting my spam and so, still something to do :) wish you best with your business everyone! :thumbsup

Those of your guys who have 30+, 45, etc, membership sites - how do you possibly possibly maintain that many and still deliver a quality product? I own one paysite and it requires a ton of time, can barely imagine juggling a few more let alone 30 - it would be impossible.

My guess is that they either don't update or have many employee's.

There is a difference between quantity and quality. :2 cents:

automation. get/build custom script depending on your requirements.
i have modified mechbunny and using it for paysite.
all i need to do is buy content and rename the files to the title, everything else
encoding in 3 diff formats ,watermarking, and publishing is done by script.

to op:
about 20 domains 15+ active sites.
two paysite
two affiliate programs

Sure sure, some automation for content is a given - not sure how anyone could function otherwise. I also provide most of my own content rather than just buying it & uploading, so I guess that's a big one there.

But stuff like branding, marketing, traffic generation, writing copy, customer service, member interaction, collaborations, acquiring or producing truly quality content, etc, all take up a healthy chunk of time. Again not so much that you couldn't run a few in tandem, but some of these guys are listing 37, 45, etc, paysites.

I'm guessing it's just a different approach and different ideas of what a membership site should be, both for customers and owner. If I ran 30-40 sites equivalent to my humble vintage paysite and all other things remaining equal, I'd be fucking rich individually pulling in many millions net profit annually (sadly this is not the case!). But again, for my approach it would be impossible - even with a stable of employees the attention to detail would just not be there.

I wondered the same - and then considered how many run 30-40 sites and also shoot/produce their own original content.

indeed , making content is big one. and if your sites are big and you have enough employees then management is the key, i guesss, i dont run that many paysites so cant tell more.

I think getting a good team together is key. In that case - management is a piece of cake.

Kenny B! 02-27-2014 07:09 AM

We manage over 200 paysites across 7 affiliate programs and growing.

I consider myself very fortunate to work with an such an incredible team, without them it wouldn't be possible, everyone goes above and beyond and treats the company as their own.
