Last year before Phoenix Forum we tried to have a contest to give away TPF registration badges as prizes (value of badge - $275 USD). We offered a variety of ways to win and do you remember who won?

In the past I won a badge + room by simply making someone laugh. I told a joke and out of everyone that told a joke, I guess mine was delivered best.

Why would you create a thread title and contest constructed in such a manner which directly implies that anyone who participates is broke and in need of charity.... while at the same time, bitching that no one participates in your "contest".

You genuinely do not see the where the problem is?

Do you really not see why people would be reluctant to respond/participate in a public manner?

This always feels like an industry run by children while the parents are away.

Why? Because not everything has to be serious, sometimes lightening up and having a bit of fun can be a good thing :) :thumbsup
