YES, actually! I just registered 2 domains that are the same number and acronym for a googlevoice number I have. I was wondering if it was a good idea or not.

Used too... Before the net was QUITE as popular as now, we had our 'Escort' number as a .com

Worked VERY well. Instead of saying got http://escortsindevon etc, the person who typed in www.0123488876543.com KNEW they were seeing the pics of the person whose number they had called - Simples....

I like number domains for dealing with tech support and other 'telephonic' situations....I have 5, .456.'xx' domains as well as my phone mumber

IMO, it's a waste of money. If people can't remember random sets of IPv4 numbers that resolve to your DNS, what makes you think they're going to remember random numbers used as your domain name?
