Music guys, XLR cables?
I need some XLR cables. Recommendations? Good brands? I want something that I won't need to buy again.
|
I have a few that I've had for a decade with regular use. They don't seem to go bad as often as guitar cables do. I would just buy some that have a lifetime warrantee if possible from a convenient exchange location so you can take them in and swap them in case of issues. Then grab one or two extra in case they crap out at an inconvenient time. Music stores are generally not operating at the same time of day as cables are needed so its always best to have your own reserve.
I wish planet waves would make an XLR version of this kit http://www.amazon.com/Planet-Waves-S...et+waves+cable because I would totally buy that. |
back in my sound engineer days we made them ourselves...
but i never heard of special brands or so - i would just make sure not to buy the thin, cheap ones, you dont want interferences (is that the right word?) |

I went with these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I only need two, but I have this amazing habit of going overboard… |
looks like a good deal to me, under $10 each - at that price you cant afford not to buy them!

Otherwise Monoprice http://www.monoprice.com/Category?c_...&cs_id=1150902 or you can find the same thing pretty much on Amazon. |
