I am at a crossroads..
Hey,
Do I continue down the path I believe in which has made me 'mad' extra income whilst I was employed or do I find a regular job at Old McDonalds or Somewhere? Note I was earning 'mad' money last year but this year it's not so mad. So the options are: Continue with what you believe and don't let anyone tell you different (even if in a year you will be homeless.) Keep doing what you are doing but fined another job. Any job. Quit what you are doing. Sell everything and go to Old McDonalds. |
If you're really at risk for being homeless soon I'd get the other job. Do this in your spare time. If not and you can promise yourself you will work like mad then I would set constant goals and checkpoints. If you don't reach a goal or checkpoint then spell out the consequences. Maybe at first it's working an extra two hours a day. Then working everyday. Then getting a job.

Ya, i took some time to try a real world job and just about ended up homeless, so said fuck it and went back to my cave to work 19 hours a day. It was fun leaving work and going out to drink with friends and shit, but i cant afford real jobs.
Do what your circumstances and passion dictate. But don't let your passion push you onto the street |

Then I found him in the locker room showering with a 14 year old boy.....:( Serious advice: go BACK and try to re-create what you were doing last year to make 'mad money'. Things haven't changed THAT much in Adult in 12 months for your "mad money" to dwindle down to "McDonald's money". If you cannot re-create your past success (for whatever reason) then try doing something else from home and/or go find a job - PART TIME job. After a year of 'splitting the baby' if nothing sticks for you then, well....go with Wendys, I like their burgers better. :) Good luck man (seriously)!! |
