Please list oil producing countries that....?

Have threatened or are threatening to move their oil sales away from the dollar either to their own currencies or the gold standard.

Russia
Iraq
Iran
Libya
Venezuela

From starting wars to assassinations western oil companies do keep busy.
Any other countries come to mind?

seeandsee 03-29-2014 04:17 AM

There was no US invasion. That was all done by "rebels"

Please try and keep up with the latest news.

JuicyBunny 03-29-2014 05:19 AM

LOL. True History...

PM Abe of Japan said today the US should be prepared as he expects Putin to unveil some pretty nasty responses if things go south with Barry and the boys.

What pray tell can that mean? :winkwink:

:1orglaugh :2 cents::2 cents:

Bravo Mr. Putin!

PornDiscounts-V 03-29-2014 05:34 AM

All of those countries listed are fucking retarded and the rest of the world doesn't give two shits about them.

crockett 03-29-2014 06:48 AM

Umm

US
Canada
Mexico as well as most other South American countries..

There are lots of countries that produce oil, pretending it's rare allows the prices to stay high.. They took that lesson from the De Beers.

Which of those countries have threatened or even tried to move away from the USD-$$$$??
Re-read the OP. Imagine what would happen to the EU if Putin shifted sales say, to Asia.

hmm, that's like saying "I will shift my website sales to Australia"...
that's not how it works, you sell where the buyers are... :2 cents:

..and the EU buys from Russia because it's cheaper..if Russia tries to play price war on the EU then the EU will stop buying and Russia will be stuck trying to offload their oil at what ever price they can get. Negative actions by Russia harm Russia as much or more than anyone else. That is the power of globalization..

Yes Russia could harm the EU on short term with price gouging but in the long run Russia loses.

JuicyBunny 03-29-2014 08:11 AM

China, Russia's next door neighbor is an extremely willing customer. Russians are known for their punitive nature. Correct?

Lets see what unfolds.
Putin has no love for the EU that's certain.

You should check the facts before getting too excited.

EU gets a third of its energy from Russia and no country on earth could survive a one-third cut in energy. EU needs Russian oil but Russia no longer needs Europe as a customer.

Russia finished the final stage of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline in 2013 ->

China and everyone else buys what they need... why would China or anyone else suddenly start buying more?

It's like a webshost losing a big webmaster and now has 1000 servers available... are you going to buy those servers? of course not... maybe if the webhost would offer you a great deal on them you would pick an extra one up... but other than that it's webhost's problem that they have extra inventory... no?

I think it's way easier to replace 1/3rd of energy (West), then 2/3rds of one's economy (Russia)...

(~2/3rds of Russia's economy is based on exporting energy to the West)

It is impossible to replace at least not in the near future.

I think it is easier to replace machinery and goods.

But anyway, these things will never happen. No one (maybe except Polaks and Baltic states) supports sanctions against Russia.

i want to believe!

lol.
