Who has a Go Pro??

Anyone been using a go pro? Just picked one up for my bike - any tips or suggestions?

Damn Best Buy - they didnt mention that I need a memory card to run it....:Oh crap

I have one. I couldn't imagine using it without a backpack (lcd screen) I would also suggest using it in 1080P medium.

GoPro silver here.

You definitely need the viewer backpack. I went one day after buying it before going back to the store for one.

Took it go-karting, under a falls, mountain biking...a few other places so far.

You can use your smartphone as a screen for it, it creates an ad-hoc wifi network, so even in the middle of bumfuck nowhere you can see what you are shooting. Worked really well for a time lapse of my wedding last year.

Gopro 3 Black and a GoPro 2 I use em all the time for all kinds of things scuba diving offshore fishing, om my phantom quad on my motorcycle

they are best suited for bright light conditions, specially the 2 but they are amazing quality and they are very versatile cameras

you might want to look at prodrenalin too

Well, specifically, South Stoke, near Arundel in Sussex with no data coverage at all and hardly any phone coverage.

Thanks for playing.

GoPro is the manufacturer.

I am going to get one as soon as the summer time comes for some bike riding.

Vendzilla 04-15-2014 04:19 PM

Next year going to Sturgus and want to have one by then! Unless they come out with a less bulky helmet cam

VSKevin 04-15-2014 04:32 PM

I've got it set up inside my helmet for motorcycle rides. It's also great for concert shooting... or at least better than a lot of the pocket digital cameras I've had.

i like to Go Poo...

candyflip 04-16-2014 06:00 AM

I have three of them. They're awesome for setting up around a wedding ceremony to get action from all angles.

Lisa_trafficshop 04-16-2014 06:06 AM

I have one, its great when you have a helmet and for under water videos :)
