Google Shares Drop - Investors Concerned with Google?s Inability to Maintain Advertising Prices

Now they need to break organic search even more :2 cents:

"Even a first-quarter profit rise of 3% has not impressed the markets with Google shares dropping 5%.

Investors are concerned with Google?s inability to maintain advertising prices.

Although the number of ?paid clicks? by consumers on Google ads was up, the average ?cost per click? was down 9%.

Despite investors? reactions, Google?s chief executive, Larry Page declared the company as ?having a great quarter?."

How about removing organic search altogether and just ads? Hope the managers see my post and implements this asap.

This is mostly due to mobile traffic. Mobile traffic, on average, pays less than web traffic.

Matt Cutts mentioned something about a Hummingbird algo tweak that reads 'user intent' ... should make for some interesting results.

He can shove his hints up his ass. I feel sorry for people hanging on every word that comes out of him, changing their site all the time to meet every little detail Google comes up with. Years ago I thought Cutts had good info, now I know better, he is just here to keep imposing Google law on webmasters. He is the Goebbels of Google.
