Clippers owner Donald Sterling caught on tape telling his girlfriend to not bring African-Americans

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

to "my games"

TMZ revealed a recording early Saturday morning of what it says is Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling pathetically admonishing his girlfriend for ?associating? with African-Americans ? apparently she made the major mistake, in Sterling?s eyes, of posing for a photo with Basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, a photo she later uploaded to her Instagram account.

It's a shocking and infuriating 9½-minute bit of tape that should embarrass the NBA and force new commissioner Adam Silver into action.

According to TMZ's recording, Sterling went on to chide his girlfriend, who is half-African-American and half-Mexican, for bringing African-Americans to Clippers games, even if those guests in question were of exalted status as Magic is, and even if she?s never done as much.

The recording is an absolutely depressing listen, to say the least. Here are some of the snippets, according to TMZ, from Sterling, who told his girlfriend V. Stiviano that he feels ?very strongly? about her ?broadcasting? the fact she briefly spoke to and posed with a very famous black man:

-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you?re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." (5:15)

-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)

It's sad that people are talking about how Donald Sterling should be punished for what he said. Dose he not live in America? Dose he not have the right to freedom of speech and expression? People can say he's a raciest or piece of crap, but people who talk about how he should be punishment should not live in America.

He's a cuckold.

Re-read everything he was quoted as saying from a cuckold's mindset.

He doesn't mind if she fucks black guys is the biggest clue.

They've been broken up for a few months, she was his mistress. I had Clipper season tickets this year and remember seeing her often sitting down by the court earlier in the season. In March, Sterling's wife sued her for embezzling 1.8 million from Donald, however it appears much of it was gifts. The lawsuit is ongoing and I suspect the timing was a calculated release of the audio recording in an effort to get them to drop the suit. Rumor is there are more recordings.

Donald has a long history of making racist comments. His long time general manager Elgin Baylor unsuccessfully sued him for racial discrimination after he was fired. Will be interesting to see what action the NBA takes, I'm sure they'd like him to sell the team but I don't see that happening.

California Wiretapping Law

California's wiretapping law is a "two-party consent" law. California makes it a crime to record or eavesdrop on any confidential communication, including a private conversation or telephone call, without the consent of all parties to the conversation. See Cal. Penal Code § 632. The statute applies to "confidential communications" -- i.e., conversations in which one of the parties has an objectively reasonable expectation that no one is listening in or overhearing the conversation. See Flanagan v. Flanagan, 41 P.3d 575, 576-77, 578-82 (Cal. 2002). A California appellate court has ruled that this statute applies to the use of hidden video cameras to record conversations as well. See California v. Gibbons, 215 Cal. App. 3d 1204 (Cal Ct. App. 1989).

If you are recording someone without their knowledge in a public or semi-public place like a street or restaurant, the person whom you're recording may or may not have "an objectively reasonable expectation that no one is listening in or overhearing the conversation," and the reasonableness of the expectation would depend on the particular factual circumstances. Therefore, you cannot necessarily assume that you are in the clear simply because you are in a public place.

If you are operating in California, you should always get the consent of all parties before recording any conversation that common sense tells you might be "private" or "confidential." In addition to subjecting you to criminal prosecution, violating the California wiretapping law can expose you to a civil lawsuit for damages by an injured party. See Cal. Penal Code § 637.2.

Consult The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press's Can We Tape?: California for more information on California wiretapping law.

We can talk about the racism all day long, but that does not take care of the problem. In this case, the problem is easily identified and can easily be taken care of. You cannot possibly think you can expect any NBA players, no matter their ethnicity to be monitored and held responsible for their actions if you cannot hold the ones who are above them, in this case, the owner, to higher standards.

The owners need to act now, along with the Commissioner, and take the franchise away from this bozo. If they do not do that, then I think the entire team of the Clippers should simply boycott any more games, that is correct, simply not play them. And then the fans need to do the same. And if you really want to make a statement, all the players of all the playoff teams should refuse to play any games until this is taken care of immediately. This is the only way to end this part of the racism that exists. It will not however end racism as we know it. But it could turn out to be just as pivotal, if not more, than the day Rosa Parks decided that she was done with sitting at the back of the bus. Or the strides Jackie Robinson made for baseball. This is the time. Everyone, whites, #$%$, latinos, every ethnicity in the USA should stand together now. If we can demand that gays and lesbians have equal opportunities, and that includes marriage, then together, all of us can make one of the all time statements in the history or our race and what the Constitution of the United States stands for!

RandazzoXXX 04-26-2014 05:50 PM

This guy isn't even really "racist". His girlfriend is black, he hires black coaches, etc... even though he doesn't have to. There are several more examples I could give that go against the actions of someone who would be considered racist.

This guy isn't really your typical racist, he's just CRAZY. An asshole. And weird. He is a crazy person who acts, says, and does crazy and weird shit. Even his comments to his girlfriend were weird.

Sounds like he's just an old insecure guy with a small dick who doesn't want his young beautiful girlfriend taking pictures of herself with other guys.

She's really light skinned. In the audio recording, he can be heard referring to her as hispanic and she corrects him and says she's mixed with black. I think he just didn't want to ever think of her as being black.

And he's a small dick or impotent cuckold. He didn't mind if she fucked black men. He didn't want public humiliation, because he most likely felt that just the mere presence of her with a black man at a game or a pic of her with a black dude on Instagram rubbed it in his face.

The media and the public sees racist. Plus racist gets ratings, gets all the blacks rallying behind the racist charge. Most people don't understand the concept of cuckolding or think at the root of it, it's some type of consensual cheating.

Unfortunately white guilters and PC media does not like that. If it was African saying same things about whites it would pass unnoticed.
Disgrace.
And was it the whore who leaked this private conversation?
Ps: He does not sound that bad, he says "I love black people", he also says "I know MJ well and he should be admired". Also he does not use "negro" and instead use PC "black". All in all not THAT bad. It looks like he does not have issues with blacks, but rather his peers who pressure him about that. That's why he says I have no problem with blacks and I like them , just do not publicize that.

There is no evidence that Magic is a "bull" fucking his GF in some cuckold shit.
There is just him feeling a fit and listing everything thing acceptable except posting pics with black men.
