Plugrush & Paypal.

Have anyone loaded funds using Paypal to Plugrush? I asked in support since i could see they have a paypal banner on their page, and when i get a response the woman tells me i have to send in documents to verify that i own the account, and then it was some thing about tax..

I cant understand how it should be so difficult to pay with Paypal, i had my account for years i pay all my web related bills to well known companies (not porn). And in all these years this is the first time i am asked to send copy of this and that, to verify i am the account owner.

Is your Paypal account not verified? I load and withdrawal funds using Paypal at Plugrush just fine, I don't remember having to send any documents.

My account is verified, i did not get an option to use paypal.

But i could use the other card companies, so why do they not ask me to verify who i am using those.. Something smell fishy here.

CPA-Rush 05-02-2014 08:46 AM

its sad because plugrush doesn?t permit users with verified account only to fund account ,they ask for documents

i'm having the same issue right now , cant really deposit

juicy and ero seems better on this

CPA-Rush 05-02-2014 08:58 AM

if plugrush did something about that problem . i may choose to not get paxum card
obviously these networks just trying hard to make account holders/ affiliates share data with 3rd party companies

I have pulled ads of my website not that i made a whole lot of money, i am using ero at the moment. But will look into something less complicated.

why not just use the money you earned to pay for the adverts you want to run?

Why not just prove them you own the account?

Klen 05-02-2014 09:47 AM

They are not only which require documents for paypal, the reason for that is because of high percentage of fraud coming by paypal.Either by chargebacks, stolen accounts,etc...

I have used paypal for over 8 years i pay my subscription at webair.com they never asked me to verify, and that says a lot. The woman in support tell me this, since i am from Norway i cant use Paypal due to taxes. When i read this a bell ring in my head, are they not paying taxes of what they earn or wth is the real reason.

But anyways i pulled every thing from plugrush off my sites.

Plugrush is also located in Norway. I'm sure we can figure out a way for you to pay, but there is VAT implications when we have norwegian advertisers. The reason for the need to document that paypal owners are legit, is because we've had a lot of problems with chargebacks via paypal. We've seen a lot of fraud from advertisers using paypal to fund their account. People connect a credit card to their paypal account, then load money to plugrush with it, then the credit card is reported stolen, and paypal does a chargeback, and we end up as the losing party. That is why we require paypal accounts to be verified, and that they can provide an ID with the same name as on the paypal account.
There is no way for us to specify that we only accept payments from verified paypal accounts, so we need to verify it ourselves, and only show the option to pay with paypal to those we have verified. It's a shame this impacts legit advertisers who aren't doing anything wrong, but unfortunately that's how we need to do it at the moment.

We aren't getting any more info than we already got on the customers. We can't do business with anonymous advertisers. We need to know who we're doing business.

I'm not sure why this is an issue. For example, we are a Canadian company and we have many advertisers who are also Canadian. We collect the HST (our version of VAT) from those advertisers, and submit to the Canadian Revenue Agency once per quarter.
