@wehateporn - The only Vivid affiliates that have gone down on my watch are folks that put themselves out of the program by purposely and repeatedly violating the terms of service of the program. :)

If you have the general celebrity traffic or pornstar name traffic, I would highly recommend that you try to promote us.

We encourage our affiliates to aggregate celebrity sex tape traffic.

Terms like:

celebrity sex tapes
celebrity porn movies
celebrity xxx


Terms we don't need affiliates aggregating: (we generate our own traffic here)

kim kardashian sex tape
farrah abraham sex tape
any sex tape likeness name



We recommend that if you don't have traffic in the above niches, don't send it to us. It does not convert. We don't want to see threads later with headlines on how we don't convert if we're not getting the proper traffic to the right products in the first place. We'd rather you send traffic that doesn't convert with us somewhere else, so you can actually make money on it.

Additionally, our program operates much differently on the celebrity side than a traditional XXX program. We have much stricter requirements on the use of our content, and how it's used to promote. Sounds good, do you have a fair few of your own affiliate projects as well as offering your coding skills?

I don't even make six figures anymore from just my adult affiliate stuff. I started down-trending that side of the house from 2003-2006, and building up the coding side much more. There's a ton more money in helping a few people who can afford it than in trying to build only for myself.

I got a weird PM once when saying this, like "OH EM GEE IF YOU DON'T MAKE SIX FIGURES ANYMORE HOW CAN YOU FLIBBITY FLOO BOOWHATZEE" etc .. and then I realized they thought that all of my income came from adult promotions. MUCH more of it (several times more, in fact) comes from programming, and residual payments from programming I've done on spec (for a percentage share) in the past.

Interesting, with your remaining affiliate projects do you send to a lot of sponsors or just a few? Are you still doing well with the e-currencies?
